Waterproof, water resistant, windproof and breathable.

Falling above the knee, this reversible coat is two looks in one. Depending on the style you choose, the Woodland/Linear Check side is fully waterproof, and the reverse side is water resistant, with a quilted look. Developed for style and performance, it is hardwearing, breathable and exceptionally soft. We finished the design with elasticated cuffs, a full-length zip and fabric pull loop, an adjustable hood with elastic pull and reverse entry pockets on both sides.

TIDE CYCLE®
As part of our commitment to turning the tide on plastic pollution, this coat is made from our new, waterproof Tide Cycle® fabric, which is woven from recycled polyester fibres from used plastic bottles. It’s waterproof, breathable, hardwearing, easy to care for and extremely soft to the touch. Production requires less energy than virgin polyester and it helps reduce the amount of plastic flowing into our oceans or heading for landfill.

Turning tide coat

I love this coat. It’s light weight and a really lovely olive green colour. It’s also a bonus it is reversible but I do prefer the green side best. It is however very big and I initially ordered the 14 and had to send it back for a 12. The 12 is plenty big enough to wear a thick jumper under.

Lovely Coat- just what needed

Lovely coat, so light and comfortable.
As a tall lady the sleeves were a good length covering my wrists. I normally up size in coats but after reading other people's comments I bought my normal dress size and I can still get a jumper underneath it without it feeling snug.
It possibly isn't the most flattering coat on me as I am a very curvy and wanted a oversized coat, which this is, but it is so comfortable, warm and light I don't care!!!!!
A 2 way zip would make it perfect.......

Love it

I initially tried the coat on in a 12 which was a good fit but didn't buy, which I then immediately regretted. It was out of stock for a while and I watched the page for a few days and bought it immediately when it was back in. I bought a 14 though to allow for wearing a jumper under - not sure there's much difference between the 12 and the 14. Doesn't really matter fortunately as it works perfectly with a hoody underneath. Love the simplicity of it and also love the colour (green) (wasn't keen on the alternative blue/pattern at all). Also love that the pockets are separate so there are inside pockets plus the outside pockets. More colours would be great.

Light as a feather!

This is the first time I have purchased a coat on line, but as Seasalt have a free returns policy decided I would give it a whirl. I am not disappointed. It is an excellent fit, snug and the hood completes the practicalities of wearing such a coat. Reversible - another first for me - and its Turning-Tide technology suits my eco stance too. I have received many compliments and only been wearing it for a fortnight!

Best Coat I've ever had

I've had this coat for about a year. It is fab. I could wear a vest and I'd be just right in it, or I could wear a jumper. It seems to adjust to make you just the right temperature what ever you wear. It is big, I like that. I wear it to mainly walk with my dog, it is waterproof, good hood. Very comfy.

Lightweight wonder

Bought this as a pre-winter coat, with room to layer underneath. Worked well on a trip to Devon with a down gilet and warm jumper, now looking smart but weatherproof back home in ENfield. I did have to size down considerably as I’m relatively petite and got a bit drowned in my normal size. Only 4 Stars as it would be nice to have a 2-way zip or poppers in addition to zip. It is also lovely and light and you don’t get too hot in it on a longer walk.

Just what I was looking for!

I love this coat as it has just the right amount of padding for me, is fully waterproof, and has a snug hood. I also ordered the Plant Hunter coat which, though lovely, was way to warm for me. This coat is a nice, loose fit too and so I can at last wear a coat AND my winter jumpers!

Too big unfortunately

I am usually a size 18 but unfortunately this coat in an 18 swamped me and the A-line of the coat gave it a bit of a tent look. Such a pity as I love the material and the pattern, but I will have to return.

Bigger & darker than in photo, but good quality

Really nice coat but it is more of a gray/black than a green, which I was disappointed by. I'm 5'3 and ordered in a size 8 and it goes down to my knees; it's also a bit baggier than it looks in the photo. It'll be good to wear over winter layers, though.

I love it

It’s just gorgeous. Perfect weight, waterproof, warm enough but not that horrible sweaty warm you get with some rainwear. Please, please do another colour
