Adore this coat!

I have only had it a few days but I absolutely love it - it’s completely waterproof and warm without being chunky.
The colour and fishtail back make it almost retro, but in a good way.
Love the fact they go up to a 26 too, so a lot more people are able to wear it.
Wish I’d bought one years ago.

Wrong colour advertised

I love the way this coat does look and this is lovely mustard colour!
One lady had mentioned here that the colour was Green Mossy not what advertised.
I called the customer service to find out is this right?
The lady on phone said that "The customer who left review might be left wrong review? because John Lewis sell something similar?"??
Well, I believed and placed my order.
Honestly, the colour it is not what advertised: The Lady who left review on the site was right! It is GREEN MOSSY ARMY UNIFORM STYLE colour.
Not OAK or mustard at all. Perhaps bad butch?
Anyway: the colour is wrong! The quality is super and it fits perfectly.
I will return it straight forward because I don't like the colour.
Minus two anchors for that,sorry.

Comments:

Dear Angel,
Thanks for your review of the Plant Hunter Coat; sorry the colour wasn’t perfect for you on this occasion, and you were able to take advantage of our no quibble return policy. We do try to ensure that the actual colour is as accurate as the image shown on the website. A number of factors can have an impact on any colour discrepancy, for example; the resolution on your pc, and lighting (studio or external) I will certainly feed your comments back to the relevant team for their attention.
Best wishes, Seasalt

Really lovely coat

Beautiful coat, fits well and the pattern is great. Surprisingly light for its size (prior to that I had one of your hip-length jackets) but it looks as though it will be warm for winter. Love the streamlined shape, very elegant.

Lovely and warm

Lovely coat for the cold weather. The Lino berry one is just different having a bit of a pattern on it.

Great coat but colour doesn't look like picture

This is a great coat, warm enough for the cooler autumn days. I bought my normal size 8 and it's generous enough to layer up underneath for winter. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, the oak colour which looks yellow in the photo is actually a deep mustard with a greenish tinge and in some lights it actually looks green. Even though the colour was not as expected, I love it and it does suit me, so I'm keeping it!

PERFECT!

This coat is everything I hoped it would be when I first saw it online. I ordered my usual size but found it just too roomy so then ordered the next size down which was perfect. Absolutely love the unusual Oak colour, the style, inside lining which will be so warm in the winter, and the details and quality. An excellent buy which will be fabulous to wear in cold weather.

Stunning coat ....but!!!

This coat is truly lovely - I bought the coal version 2 years ago so when I saw the mustard yellow colour I had to order it - knowing the fit would be perfect - my only niggle is that when the coat arrived it was a much darker colour .....almost moss green definitely not the lovely light yellowish colour on the picture and video advertised which is slightly disappointing however still A nice coat which doesn’t fault on quality so I will be keeping as it still goes with most of my wardrobe - just not as crazy on the colour as I was hoping

Lovely

I love this coat, its nice and warm and has room to layer up so when its really cold or snowing its still fabulous. Waterproof as well, I like the double ended zip so when its pouring with rain you can get into the car and sit down and just move the bottom zip up a little for Comfort. Whats not to like don't think about it just buy it.

Stylish and comfortable

I have just bought this coat after admiring it for some time. I already have two other Seasalt jackets (Tiller and Bowsprit) which I love and needed something a little longer for those long walks that I now have the time to do. This coat fits the bill just right! Light but warm and looks so good. I bought this in my actual size whereas previous purchases have gone up a size, due to prior reading of reviews. I have no complaints at all and am pondering whether I might need to go for something longer maybe next year!
