Good choice

Got the coat today. I took the colour "Running Stitch Fathom". For me a good choice - a really nice coat in a bigger fit. So if you don't like a loose fit - take a size smaller. But for me its okay, for colder days I can wear a jumper too. I am really looking forward to rainy days in Vienna :-) Regards from Austria!

The Perfect Coat

Love this coat so much. It's been perfect for the downpours, colder days and also the not-so-cold days of autumn so far.
I wanted a new waterproof coat to replace my old North Face as it became no longer waterproof. My other requirement was that it was knee length as I am really tall and have never found the right design. This coat is perfect because I bought the long length and it's mega super waterproof!
Make sure you do go a size down though, after reading all these reviews I ordered a 10 and an 8 (I'm normally a 10) and I have kept the 8.

Extremely Pleased

As a larger lady I can't always find things that I like and that fit. A friend recommended Seasalt and this raincoat is amazing. It is warm and waterproof (which believe it or not not all raincoats are) and IT FITS without making me look like a barrage balloon. Great product. Thanks Seasalt.

Lovely coat, cosy and warm

I'm very happy with this coat. I ordered a size 14 (extra long) and it fits perfectly. I'm 176 cm tall. The sleeves are slightly long, but I don't mind, because it keeps my hands warm and snugly. The hood is large which I like. Although the coat is kneelength, I can still cycle to do my groceries. Just hope it will turn colder soon here in the Netherlands, so I can wear it every time I go outdoors. Please don't mind my English...

Lovely coat

Bought this to replace a Janelle which was just too big after losing weight. I love it; warm, great colour (slate) to go with most things and love the adjustable waist. Comes up quite big, I'm normally a 12 but size 10 is fine on me. Looking forward to wearing it for cold wet commutes

Perfect for cold, rainy days

Great colour - good for country walks without scaring the wildlife, and nice rich colour for autumn/winter. Cosy, with a great hood, deep pockets and good length for "run-off". Also ideal length for sitting on damp walls/benches with an ice cream/fish and chips. Excellent all round. I am glad I took the time to choose this style from the many in the catalogue, as it suits my lifestyle perfectly.

Brilliant Purchase

This was a first time buy with Seasalt and the process was easy, efficient and the goods arrived promptly. And seeing it has done nothing but rain since I received my fabulous coat, it has lived up to its expectations and indeed exceeded them!! It is well made, beautifully tailored, fab colour (I chose oak) and was a little worried about the colour, but it arrived exactly the same colour as on the web site. Fits on the larger side but still holds a tailored shape and will come into its own when the temperature drops and winter woollies are also needed. Well done Seasalt.

Loving my new raincoat

Have bought dresses and tunics before and always been impressed with quality so when I needed a new winter coat thought I would give Seasalt a go. Wasn't sure about the size but followed what others had said about it being quite generous so ordered a 16 rather than my usual 18 I have had in dresses. The 16 was perfect and although I am only 5 foot 3 inches the regular length was also OK and not too long. I have short arms which can sometimes be a problem but this coat has the facility to turn back the cuffs and poppers to hold in place so this was not a problem. It is lovely and cosy and kept out the rain really well during a recent downpour!!! Would definitely recommend and although a bit more expensive than I might normally buy it is definitely worth the money and I am sure with its classic style will stand the test of time

Hunter coat

Fabulous coat- I love it! The colour, warmth, fit ( generous for a size 10) and style meet all my expectations. Plus it’s waterproof! Can highly recommend.

Delighted

I walk my dog by the Solent no matter the weather and have been looking for a warm and waterproof coat; most styles seem to be one feature or the other.
Tried out this coat in torrential rain and cold westerly wind and it was perfect. Nice length and not too clumsy and rustic looking! Noticed other tin cloth coats have a ‘rain funnel’ on the hood, this would have been a lovely finishing touch.
