Environment

We’ve always tried our best as a business to reduce our impact on the environment, but now we’re more determined than ever and have set our course with ambitious targets.

THE ROAD TO CARBON NET ZERO

We know fashion is a carbon-intense industry and we are working hard to reduce our impact on the environment.

By setting near-term Science Based Targets (SBTs), Seasalt is developing a credible plan for reducing our carbon footprint.

We are also working together with other retailers as stakeholders in the British Retail Consortium’s Climate Action Roadmap as we transition to becoming a Carbon Net Zero business by 2040

OUR ENVIRONMENT COMMITMENTS

  • Become a Carbon Net Zero business by 2040 in line with the BRC’s Climate Action Roadmap.

  • Zero waste to landfill by the end of 2023 .

RESPONSIBLE STORE DESIGN

We’re hugely proud of our shop on Castle Street in Norwich, which showcases the ways we’re innovating to reduce our carbon footprint. We’re now rolling out our new concept stores to other locations in the UK and internationally.

WINDOW STORIES

Wherever possible, our window displays are crafted from recyclable, reusable or reclaimed materials to minimise their environmental impact.

But the story doesn’t end there. Each Seasalt shop helps to give window artwork a new lease of life at the end of each season by donating it to their community.
