The colourful cathedral cities of Truro and Quimper were the starting point for our latest Seasalt designs. Sophie and the team drew references from the cobbled streets of the Cornish capital as well as Quimper, in Brittany's Cornouaille region (also known as French Cornwall). We were lucky enough to shoot this season's collection on location on the north coast of France.

For this month's colours and prints we looked to Quimper's historic timbered buildings, powdery blue shutters, geranium-filled window boxes, hand-painted pottery and traditional Breton lace.

Saturated shades of red, orange, yellow, green and blue are paired with classic neutrals, such as navy and grey. Lightweight pieces, in our famously good quality linen and chambray fabrics, are perfect for spring days and wear beautifully.
