100% Cotton

A versatile addition to any wardrobe. This relaxed fit, mid-thigh length shirt is inspired by Cornish artists’ studiowear. It’s made from 100% cotton with a subtle slub that gives it a beautiful texture, enhanced by narrow yarn-dyed stripes. Ideal for layering, it buttons down the front, so you can wear it fastened or open. Long sleeves with rolled cuffs and button loops and handy side seam pockets add the finishing details. Perfect for pottering about in – just slip it on over a pair of jeggings.

Lovely shirt

Love this shirt! True to size, the usual good Seasalt quality and looks lovely with jeans and smart trousers. Wear it with one of my favourite Seasalt cardigans.

Comfy Shirt

My Favourite shirt. I have three now.
Just one small thing. The pockets tend to fall back towards my posterior. I wondered if they could be anchored someway, this would make them flat on the hips too.

A favourite shirt,

This is my very favourite shirt, cool, versatile, ageless and a perfect length. As mentioned in an earlier review, I found the side pockets awkwardly placed - for me anyway - but this was easily solved with a sewing machine and a pair of scissors.
However, I have found that several areas of stitching have 'broken', not on seams but on cuffs and collar. Easily solved and does not affect my pleasure in wearing the shirt, but reflected in the 3/5 anchors.

Love this shirt

The on,y mistake I made when I ordered this shirt was to order a size 18.. I am a size 16 but always buy the Tunics and Shifts in Size 18 as they are easier to pull on and off.
The size 18 shirt is too big for me but the casual style means it doesn’t look enormous. I love wearing it with blue chinos and on cooler days wear a white TShirt underneath. Teamed with a scarf and chunky jewellery is dresses up well for different occasions.
I do agree with the reviewer who commented on the side pockets, they would have been better as patch pockets.
This shirt is a great addition to my spring/early summe wardrobe.

I have to disagree with some peoples comments I just love the pockets on this shirt makes it that bit extra, granted I am larger on top and have no hips which probable makes this top perfect for me. will team with white or blue jean leggings. CLassic! By the way seasalt the sizing of the bust measurements is perfect as well.

Seam pockets a mistake

Oh dear Seasalt, another shirt ruined with seam pockets - I didn’t notice this when I ordered it as I hate seam pockets.
Nice fabric, but those seam pockets! Why?
You have ruined the shape of good shirt by sticking unnecessary pockets in. A perfectly good French seam chopped about for pockets. They are far from flattering especially if worn over jeans with side pockets. A couple of patch pockets would have been great - they lie flat.
It’s also overlong even for me at 5ft 8 .

Lovely shirt

I agree with FiB slow. This is a lovely shirt, especially if you feel you need a bit of extra cover of bits you don’t like. It is long (and over 6feet tal) and can be dressed up or down. I wore mine with the chy sleeveless top and navy crops. I think the pockets do add a bit of u wa Ted width, but not enough to make a real difference and they don’t stick out.
I would definitely itely buy it inother colours. I love That Seasalt now caters for larger sizes. They have become my go to for online clothes and the fact that the sizes sell out demonstrate how successful and valued this extension is fisizes is. Pleas keep doing the,.

Gorgeous in Size 26

I absolutely love this shirt. I am (sadly) size 26 and so happy Seasalt now go up to my size. This shirt ticks all the boxes for me - beautiful lightweight cotton, beautifully finished, quite generous size - it is meant to be roomy - and an ideal length especially if you are self conscious about your tummy & thighs, long sleeves which obviously you can fold back, side pockets and a breast pocket. I wore this for the first time during the recent hot hot May bank holiday and the lightweight fabric was brilliantly cool. Will make a perfect over shirt on cooler days over a plain tank top.
My only complaint? I want it in the same light airy cotton fabric but more colours and I would buy one of each, in fact would be happy to fill my wardrobe with any number!
