A pretty and easy-to-wear dress made from soft needlecord, in a choice of unique Seasalt prints. We've given the Kestle Barton Dress a very flattering A-line shape with a box pleat to add shape at the back. It's finished off with lovely, large curved pockets and a notch neck. It sits just above the knee and is fully lined so it drapes beautifully. Lovely layered over our roll-neck Landing Top with ankle boots and tights on fresh spring days.

Smashing dress or as a long Tunic

The supersoft needlecord type fabric of this piece is gorgeous - it is lined too, so ideal for those cooler evenings and teamed up with a thick pair of tights or as a nice wardrobe essential teamed with leggings or jeans for a colder spring or summer day. Fabric drapes lovely - especially over my frame as I have a fuller-bust - but without it making the piece look like a tent. Fantastic cut, lovely colours. Please bring these back for AW18 in a variety of other prints and hues!!!!!

Generously cut

I bought my usual size, found it to be far too big and had to exchange for the next size down. It's a lovely comfortable dress to brighten any day without being too bright on the eye. Would have preferred a cotton lining, even if it cost a bit more, but, hopefully in the cold weather the polyester lining won't be so much of a problem.

Shame about the pleat!

Material and pattern are lovely, so is the fit until you get to the pleat underneath the bustline- unfortunately it makes me look heavily pregnant, so regretfully I have had to return it!

Watch the sizing

I buy lots of Seasalt dresses and tunics ( to the point that Seasalt should introduce a loyalty points system) and unusually buy a 16 if it is loose fitting e.g. mill pool dress or an 18 if there's no zip entry . With this dress I was unsure and for the first time got it wrong. It a lovely dress, fabric, lining, pattern, style great - just too loose on me. I should have returned it but didn't so I now have a rather expensive mistake to swim around in.
Cross with myself but it'll make me more cautious ( and reluctant) in the future to trust SS sizing.

Was bought this as a gift from what has to be my favourite Seasalt shop in Bury St Edmunds. It is a very loose style (I am a size 8 and 5.2 ") -what I call a 'big dress' but I love that as I layer underneath with shirts and roll neck tops It is nice to have a base of black for a change ,although I do love the usual blues. The pattern and fabric is striking and the quality you expect from Seasalt.

Beautiful colours and style

Lovely dress, covers my knees which is a good thing, and i am 5 ft 4. Love the pleat in the back which adds to the comfort and shape. The lining is soft and doesn’t seem to make me hot, unlike some polyester linings.

Looks beautiful!

Looks perfect BUT...gutted to see it has a polyester lining. Why can't you line in cotton, as previously? I can't be the only menopausal woman who would appreciate this...!
