Practically perfect in every way

This a a very useful piece of clothing indeed, partic given the weather and my cold house. It's warm, soft, has a hood and deep pockets and it is very roomy indeed. I wrap it around me while working and mooching around the house and because it is such a neutral colour, it goes with anything and everything. I like the length too which is falls just below my knees (I am however a bit of a short a*** so won't be the same for everyone). My only slight niggle is that the blue lining is not 'the bright pop of colour' as indicated on-line but is much darker.

Love this one

This seems to have been one of the stars of the Chrimbo pressies for Mrs R. She's worn it a lot.

On the size, we're happy. She's an "unwilling" 16 (was a 14 before lockdowns and such!). So I ordered a Large with my fingers crossed (i'd usually be going Medium for her).

She says it's perfect for her. She says she'd personally want something in this style to be slightly "big" so she can wrap it round herself and snuggle up in it. But she can see how someone else might see that as too big for how they want to wear it.

SO, based on that, I've flagged it as "Bigger Fit". Hopefully that makes sense and helps others :)

Yet another HUGE a jacket.

I’ve just received this coatigan. Your own sizing predictor said I was a large (I am a dress size 14), but looking at other reviews I ordered a M instead. It’s HUGE. I recently bought an Ivy Tower coat in a 14 which fits me well, then I ordered the Kelsey coat in a 14 but it was HUGE and no 12s are left, and now this coatigan is too HUGE. Come on Seasalt, I love your clothes but your sizing has gone badly wrong. It’s not good enough to say that you give the dimensions, you should stick to one, standard sizing for all your clothes. Buying from you online is becoming almost impossible. I’m so disappointed, off I go to the post office again...

Rather big

I ordered the xxl as I’m usually a big size with Seasalt but it was too big on me. XL was sold out but I ordered it from another website. It fitted but the fabric was wavy at the back. Not a stiff enough construction for this type of long coatigan I think - I’m a knitwear designer and a bit fussy so might be ok for others. Still love Seasalt just this style’s not for me- might buy another Fruity jumper!

Perfect coatigan

I opted for medium (size 12-14) which fits fine, my size guide by Seasalt was large, which would have been enormous. I would say it is true to size, I can easily wear a jumper underneath without the coatigan feeling tight as it is a relaxed fit. If you prefer a fitted style then size down. The knit is extremely soft and the colours compliment each other. The hood is large and floppy. I am very pleased with this.

Lovely Coatigan

I have wanted one of these for the last few years but keep missing out.
So was very pleased to get one this year.
Unfortunately it swamped me. The bitter cocoa colour was too over powering on me, although a lovely brown/ purple shade, with gorgeous grey/blue inside. Smart /casual/ modern look.
Lovely soft fabric but dissapointed to read 43% viscose and 20% nylon in the fabric mix. Very sad to have Returned for refund.

Love it!

I love this cardigan! It's unpretentions without being boring, it keeps me warm enough and combined with the Sailor Shirt (Dark Freesia)....it just makes me happy. Thank you, Seasalt!

So much fun!

I was so lucky to buy this piece on the sale last year in the blue and red color combination. It’s so handy for a ‘throw on and go’ on a chilly day. I also wanted it to be reversible so with a few careful snips of the labels I made it so. I can now wear primarily red or blue depending upon my mood! Love it.

Very pleased with this Coatigan. The wool is deliciously soft, yet has weight and swing .

The cards and wrapping paper are delightful!
Particularly delighted with the coatigan, which is handsome, very soft and cosy. Has a lovely weight and feel.
