Bitter Cocoa

Lovely lightweight soft and cozy jumper. Colour is rich and warm. Has shed bobbles quite a lot and after just a few wears, but that is the only downside.

Dear Gill,

Thanks for your lovely review but we are sorry to hear that your jumper has started bobbling.

Of course, in line with our 'no quibble' refund policy, we'd be happy to offer you a full refund if you'd like. Just pop it back to us using the Freepost label in your parcel.

Bobbling and pilling is a natural occurrence in yarns. As the garment is worn, over time, the yarn gets tangled as it is rubbed. This results in little balls of fluff.
To remove the bobbles we'd recommend using a de-bobbler occasionally. Once you've removed the bobbles a few times, you should find that the bobbling decreases with wear.

As always, our Customer Service team would be delighted to help, just call on 01326 640075 or pop onto a chat at www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk

Best wishes,
The Seasalt Team

Lovely and soft but pills a lot

I bought this in the Storm colour, which is lovely. The jumper is extremely soft, but boy, does it pill! Every time I wear it I leave a trail of little storm-coloured bits around the house, although I haven't washed it yet.

I do wonder why the front is longer than the back. At the side seams it's about 0.5cm shorter but it curves up to the centre so that it's about 4cm shorter there. Is that a design feature or a design fault, I wonder?

In most other shops I am a size 10-12 but the Seasalt size 8 is perfect in this case.

My favourite jumper at the moment!

A lovely jumper--warm, cosy and very comfortable, it is my absolute favourite at the moment! I ordered it in the Bitter Cocoa colour first, and as I wore it all the time, I decided to order it in the Storm colour too, which is also very nice. I like wearing them with the Landing Tops which are now available in a variety of rich and subtle colours. Thank you very much Seasalt for your beautiful and high quality garments!

Cosy stylish, comfort

Love this jumper. It’s cosy warm and comfortable to wear. Slightly loose fitting which I like. Well made and good quality as ever with Seasalt.

Free Forms Jumper in storm color

Soft material and beutiful color. However size 8 was huge on me especially in the arms. I am 160 cm so I would need petite size or maybe size 6 in this case. Unfortunately this season seasolt did not offer any petite style knitwear which makes me sad. I am a foreign customer my main reason shopping at seasolt is petite sizing.

Gorgeous jumper

I bought the storm colour earlier in the year, loved it so much I asked my husband to get me the cocoa for my birthday. Good fit, lovely and warm (bobbles a little bit as it is quite 'fluffy' for want of a better word). I love this jumper! Looks good with anything

Bitter Cocoa Jumper

Delighted to find a dark chocolate jumper and have worn it constantly since it arrived. Suoer light, super cosy - since putting it on never felt cold or too hot. Worn over a tee shirt very comfortable. Good shape. hangs well, crew neck is neat for winter and looks nice with small neckscarf tucked in. I'll be looking for more from Seasalt.

Just Gorgeous

This is a gorgeous, soft, cosy jumper. I love it and I am buying another. Yes, it initially drops little balls of fluff and my heart sank when I saw those four little words 'hand wash, dry flat'. Does any of that matter? No! I have washed this jumper three times, by hand, short spin and then over a radiator. It is easy to look after and comes up as gorgeous as ever every time. The bits of fluff reduce over time and I consider them a small inconvenience to have the luxury of this material. Like other reviewers - more colours please!

Lovely but itchy neck

Colour, bitter cocoa: A nice warm brown but best of all composed of ‘marled’ colour, looking closely there’s pink-red, brown and grey in there.
Texture: Light, very soft and cosy.
Composition: I like the alpaca content. Disappointed it is 41% nylon. I didn’t check the composition before buying, just went on the mention of alpaca. But maybe nylon is recycled and/or will prove effective. Interested that it’s 3% elastane. Never had a jumper with elastane before. Perhaps it will hold shape better as it’s a light weight (but warm) knit. However I have reservations about elastane as it usually wears out faster than the other fibres leaving garments with saggy ruffled areas and unsightly frayed elastane resulting in a less sustainable garment as elastane can’t be repaired. Let’s see how this one goes.
Itchy neck: There’s a thin ribbon stitched across inside just below the back neck. It seems to hold the shape. However at both ends where it’s stitched on it’s intensely itching my shoulder (most of my shirts are collarless tops). I’m removing the ribbon which is pretty tricky. I’m using a magnifying glass as the stitches are buried and I don’t want to make a hole in the knit. (If I simply cut the ribbon off the ends that itch would still be there). Will removing the ribbon result in a deformed neckline over time?

I have several Seasalt jumpers and all are lovely designs in terms of shape, stitch, texture and yarn. Knitwear design seems to me to be a particular strength of Seasalt.
