Our Clove Hitch Dress is a flattering, below-the-knee length shirt dress with a ’70s feel. It's semi fitted and made from soft needlecord with a deep button placket, two handy pockets and a slim tie to cinch it in at the waist. Great with a chunky cardigan and leather ankle boots for casual autumn days.

We use Royal Mail’s Tracked service for all our standard UK & CI orders.
When your order’s been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Your parcel will be with you in 3-5 working days (although it can take a little longer at busy times).
Order by 2pm Monday to Friday
Order by 2pm Monday to Friday to receive your Seasalt order the very next working day (excluding Bank Holiday weekends). Please note any orders placed after 2pm on a Friday or over a Bank Holiday weekend will be despatched on the next working day.
Unfortunately next day delivery isn’t available to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and remote parts of Scotland.

DPD
Any orders that are placed before 2pm are sent via DPD and will require a signature. If you've given us your mobile number, you'll get a text message an hour before your parcel’s delivered. If you're not in, you can choose to have your parcel left with a neighbour, or rearrange delivery.
2 - 4 working days
1. Hop online and choose 'CollectPlus' as your delivery option.
2. Select the most convenient Seasalt collection point - there are over 5500 in the UK.
3. You'll receive a code by email and text when your item arrives. Take this and some form of ID (passport, driving license) to your chosen collection point. They'll keep your order for you for 10 days.

This dress fitted me like a glove in my usual Seasalt size. It is beautifully made and lined as others have said. The cord is baby soft. I was struggling to get it on until I found the side zip. The pockets do not add bulk. If you want long sleeves you can always put a long sleeved polo or t-shirt underneath. The pattern is lovely and dark enough for work whilst adding a bit of interest on a Zoom meeting.
Dress arrived today. Petite had sold out so I ordered regular as I was quite happy to shorten it (I'm 5'1").
As there were so many comments about it being a tight fit over the bust I ordered up a size to a 14 but it is sadly too big, particularly across the back and shoulders.
I'm now dithering over whether to order a 12 in case the sleeves are too tight a fit. I own several Sea Salt dresses and know the sizes do vary a bit. Decisions, decisions!

This is the second clovehitch dress I have purchased now, the previous one was navy, as I love the needlecord fabric which is soft and warm, and I love the fit and style of the dress with the lovely side pockets and belt.
The pattern is beautiful and reminds me of wintery flowers, and is very quirky and unique. It is true to size, I am between a size 6-8, both are size 6, and I love the fact that it can be worn with or without a long sleeved top underneath for a different look and extra warmth.
I highly recommend this gorgeous dress.
Blown away by this dress - I bought online so relied on the description which doesn't do it justice. It's not black and white, it's black with putty coloured foliage pattern so the effect of the contrast is softer. Very classy and fully lined which the description fails to mention. It looks great over a cream polo but would look equally good dressed with heels and a statement belt for the evening. Well done Seasalt!!

I love this dress! Got it in the sale, so happy with the price. It fits very well in all of the right places. Very flattering, gives you a waist. Length is just right as I am 5.3 and so dresses can often be too long. Looks great with thick tights and bkier boots. Who doesn't love a pocket!
I can't begin to express how absolutely thrilled I am with the gorgeous dress...The fabric is a fantastic, tiny needlecord and it's lined too.. The wonderful finish to this dress to my mind turns it into a high end piece that I'm thinking will last for many years... It has pockets too..I'm 5ft 4ins tall and the SEASALT sizing guide suggested that I go up a size from my usual M&S size, so I reluctantly went from 14 to 16 .. Wow, so glad I did what a fit, it could've been made to measure...The length is top to middle calf on me...I'm an apple shape but wearing this dress you'd never think so, it's so very slimming/flattering.....Thank you SEASALT, thrilled is an understatement and what a bargain in the sale too...
Beautiful needlepoint fabric that is really comfy to wear yet still looks shaped due to waist tie. Really like the two side pockets and the collar. I went for the size 10 (I’m 5’4”) and the length is perfect - just below the knee. More of these dresses please Seasalt!
Just bought this beauty in the sale. Fits so well, and slipping it on to find that it’s lined, was the cherry on the top.
Lovely Southwold staff helped me with sizing, and were spot on.
A great dress, made of lovely material. Size comes up a bit small.
Lovely soft, fine needle cord material which is cosy for this time of year.
I especially appreciate that the dress is lined and it features 3/4 length sleeves.
Would like to see this style in a different material./ pattern.
