Petite sizes are proportioned for women up to 5’3” and Tall sizes are proportioned for women over 5’8”
These measurements will help you find your best fit, but some items may be very slightly larger or smaller.
We use Royal Mail’s Track & Trace service for all our standard UK orders.
When your order’s been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Your parcel will be with you in 3-5 working days (although it can take a little longer at busy times).

Order by 3pm Monday - Friday
Order by 3pm Monday to Friday and receive your Seasalt order the very next working day (excluding Bank Holidays). If you order over a Bank Holiday weekend, your order will arrive on the Wednesday.
Unfortunately next day delivery isn’t available to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and remote parts of Scotland.
All next day orders are sent via DPD and will need a signature. You can track your order by contacting Customer Services on 01326 640075. If you've given us your mobile number, you'll get a text message alert an hour before your parcel’s delivered. If you're not in, you can choose to have your parcel left with a neighbour, or rearrange delivery.
If you haven’t given us your mobile number and you're not in when the parcel’s delivered, we'll leave a card with details about how to rearrange your delivery.
3 - 5 working days
1. Hop online and choose 'Click & Collect' as your delivery option.
2. Select the most convenient shop to pick up your order. Click & Collect is available in all of our shops except Guernsey and Clonakilty.
3. We'll email you when your order is ready to be collected from your chosen shop. They'll keep it for you for 7 days (don't forget to bring your order number with you when you pop in to collect it)

1. Hop online and choose 'CollectPlus' as your delivery option.
2. Select the most convenient Seasalt collection point - there are over 5500 in the UK.
3. You'll receive a code by email and text when your item arrives. Take this and some form of ID (passport, driving license) to your chosen collection point. They'll keep your order for you for 10 days.

As soon as I saw the Chacewater Dress in the Painterly Planting Squall print, I fell in love. I thought it was reminiscent of a French impressionistic painting and just so pretty and feminine. Was desperate to snag it in the sale with a few other dresses but it kept evading me. It finally came up in my size, I ordered it, then it got pulled from my order the next day due to a glitch in the system. Apparently my size had sold out while the payment processed. I was heartbroken. 😭💔 But I was also determined! After days of revisiting the website and refreshing pages repeatedly, I finally managed to purchase it and I'm so glad I put in the effort. The dress is even more gorgeous in person and fits like a dream. The regular length is perfect on me (I'm just under 5'4"), it drapes wonderfully, and the empire waistline and bodice are brilliant. Often, I find dresses that wrap at the chest either too snug or too gapey but this dress seems to be made for me. And in organic cotton to boot! I couldn't be happier!! I'm going to fit in a few wears this autumn with Seasalt's Studio Life Cardigan and a pair of ankle booties and then look forward to wearing it again as soon as winter's over and for many years to come. I'm already looking forward to new prints in this style.
What a pretty dress this is. I received many compliments on the Orient Express! Fitted well as size 16 for 38" bust. Would have bought tall but only regular in my size available and it was fine coming a couple of inches below the knee on 5'7". Worn with heels looks good and doesn't crease for packing when travelling. An excellent buy.
Absolutely love this dress- the pattern is beautiful and at 5”4 I found the regular length perfect and very flattering,
I took at size 12 which I seem to fit as standard apart from the fitted bodice dresses in which I find 14 more comfortable. So I would say take your usual size in this.

Visiting from overseas and went into Sea Salt in Lewes to try some dresses on after seeing they had larger sizes (I'm a 24). Tried this on and fell in love. My only regret was that there weren't more colors/patterns in the same style, as I would have liked to get more. Also, the sales clerk was delightful and made the shopping experience even more pleasant without being overbearing at all.

Such a great dress! It fits like a dream, is so comfortable to wear and I love the longer style. Couldn't be better.
So pleased with my dress, bought in size 16 for 38" bust. Fits perfectly. If there had been a tall available I would have ordered that, but the regular is perfectly adequate on my 5'7" height - mid calf. I am usually pleased with most things "Seasalt" and this is no exception.
