Great to be able to buy your fabric BUT........

I confess that I haven't yet bought any of your fabric.....but I am very tempted. I have seen some of your new winter needlecord skirts in the shop and think the fabric is lovely. The only problem is that I prefer my skirts longer, which is why I'm seriously considering a purchase of fabric in order to make my own. I could get a pretty straight, pencil type skirt out of 1 metre but any other type of skirt, in the length I want, would need more than 1 metre but less than 3. I hate buying more fabric than I need - especially in these days when folk are going on about sustainability etc. - and so am really writing this to see if you can be persuaded to sell in 2 metre lengths also.

Love Seasalt fabric

I love Seasalt fabrics and this needle cord does not disappoint. Soft with a lovely drap, and the colour way is gorgeous.

Lovely needlecord material

Bought this material to be made up into a skirt. This has been done and am very pleased with the pattern and the quality of the fabric.

Lovely soft needle cord

Beautiful fabric and very soft. I have made a tunic similar to your boatyard tunic of last winter and had a strip left over so made a cowl lined with cobalt blue to go with it. Very pleased and love the fabric design.

Beautiful fabric hammered floral dark night

This is just beautiful fabric and stylish colour! I am tempted to buy another 3 metres to make several garments as it is just delightful! Highly recommended!

Stunning fabric!

Beautiful cord fabric! It will make a stunning jacket when I get going with it. Thinking of maybe lining it with an attractive Seasalt cotton fabric rather than boring plain polyester or nylon, to add even more interest. The problem will be choosing which one! Lovely quality and colours even better in real life. I'm so tempted to buy more colours and make some winter skirts or pinafore dresses!

Beautiful Fabric

I love your prints and Fabrics,it’s great to be able to buy them by the metre, but sad that you cannot buy two metres in one piece.
As a very experienced dressmaker, I hate buying to much fabric and am able to squeeze garments out of smaller amounts, but having to use separate metres means Either a short dress or one with a join around the middle.

Sophie and her textile design team delight us every month with an array of beautiful new prints inspired by Cornwall. Seasalt prints have a wonderful handcrafted look and each one is unique to us, you won’t find them anywhere else.

“The process of creating a Seasalt print usually starts with block printing, batik, painting or sketching. Once we’ve settled on a design we love, we work on scale, repeat and colours.”

“The flora and fauna found all around Cornwall provides a constant source of inspiration – you’ll often find pretty foliage, anemones, leaves and seed heads within our prints.”
