Printed Cotton Voile Fabric

Delighted that seasalt now sell fabric ! This printed cotton voile was perfect for a lightweight Grainline scout Tee.

Very lightweight, yet not see through.

Will definately buy more!

Lovely fabric

I bought this in Lino garden dill, a very wearable soft yellowy green. Beautiful print, and I will probably make a skirt for next summer. It’s a very good quality fine cotton, a little bit like Libert’s Tana Lawn, not quite as silky, but considerably cheaper!

Beautiful and soft

I love this fabric, it's called a voile in the listing so was worried it was going to really fine but it's not. I'm using it to make a little sofa blanket for my young children. It looks beautiful just laying on the sofa! Lovely colour, print, and feel!

Beautiful fabric

Love the shade and design. I can't actually sew myself but you don't have any tunics in this fabric (just the Polpeor shirt which has already sold out in my size) so I'll find someone who can!

Mixed review

Bought the colour test ecru and the catch of the day marine, but they are different widths and qualities. They seem to be from a different base fabric. The colour test was fine and better quality -will need lining for a dress, or would make a lovely scarf.I love it! The catch of the day is thicker, and not as fine or sheer - suitable for a summery item. But, be warned, the catch of the day has substantially less width - mine was around 106cm total, which includes a selvedge of at least 1.5cm each side, unlike the colour test which was closer to 140cm useable width. And, with possible shrinkage, the catch of the day may be even less useable - it doesn't even go around my body! Hope Seasalt sorts out this issue, cause we want fabric but need consistency and quality, and the width we paid for. And, I would love to see the fish pattern from the Larissa shirt last year, as a fabric by the metre.

Comments:

Dear Just me,
Thanks for your review of our Printed Cotton Voile Fabric; Seasalt take quality issues very seriously and this isn’t the usual high standards we would expect from one of our products. I understand our Customer Services team have already spoken directly to you and resolved the issue.
Please call our friendly customer service team on 01326 640075 or pop onto Live Chat on our website at www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk, where we’d be happy to give further sizing information.

More wonderful fabric.

I have six dresses I have made from Seasalt fabric and all get positive comments. The quality of the fabric and the lovely designs make it an obvious choice for dressmaking in the summer.

Fabulous fabric

I was so tempted by this delightful green gardenesque pattern. As soon as it arrived I knew I was right to have given in to temptation. I cut out a dress and finished sewing it that evening. Wore it next day and got so many positive comments. In a fabric shop I was asked where the fabric was from as they thought it such a pretty design. Another Seasalt success!
