Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms, or using Live Chat, on our site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, posting material or requesting further services, including your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details.

    We use technology created and managed by our supplier Sub2 to provide this service. This service is provided anonymously and is not related to your Seasalt account. None of the information collected by Sub2 is personally identifiable.
    This information is also used to limit the number of times you may see a Seasalt advertisement on third party websites as well as helping to measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. It remembers that you have visited a website and this information (together with the other information collected) is shared anonymously with other organisations such as advertisers in the advertising network to enable them to create a profile of your interests, so that you are only shown adverts relevant to you. We will not rent, sell or lease this personally identifiable information to other companies or individuals unless you have given us your permission.

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

How to unsubscribe

If you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list please contact us.

Please be aware that it may take up to 6 weeks to remove addresses from postal mailings and up to 5 days to remove email addresses from our database.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise the right at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
