CAREERS AT SEASALT

WHY WORK WITH US?

Many businesses may say it, but at Seasalt our customers truly are right at the heart of everything we do. We promise to never disappoint our customers; we recognise that they are the most important people in our business. Seasalt customers recognise value and it’s our quality that’s made us famous, this won’t change….ever!

Seasalt started in 1981 and originally sold fishermen’s smocks, Guernseys and workwear to the farmers, fishermen and artists of the area. Now, 35 years later we create beautiful and useful clothing and homeware that’s inspired by Cornwall’s coastal and creative heritage.

Being a Cornish success story is something we're very proud of. Our team includes a diverse range of talent, including graphic designers and fine artists, accountants and logistics experts, textile designers and pattern cutters.

CHARITY & COMMUNITY

Our studios overlook Falmouth Bay and St Anthony’s Lighthouse, you can often find us popping down to the beach at lunchtime to enjoy a brisk walk and the sea air.

Charity and our local community are very important to us and we like to get stuck in where we can. We support the Fishermen’s Mission with a variety of activities throughout the year, from welly wanging on the beach and baking fish themed cakes to our charity jute bags designed by famous faces! Teams from the studio and our coastal shops lend a hand at beach cleaning events, and we’ve set up the Seasalt Bursary to enable one lucky novice the chance to train and study as a potter at the world-renowned Leach Pottery in St Ives every year. There is always something fun going on in our shops, warehouse or studios for you to join in with.

Our aim is to trade as responsibly as we can, this includes making our supply chains fair for everyone. In 2005 we became the first fashion company to have garments certified by the Soil Association and in 2013 we, again, were the first ever fashion company to win the Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

If you think Seasalt is the place for you and want to find out more, then have a good look around this site and pop into one of our shops. We’re also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
