55% Linen, 45% Cotton

The essential A-line midi skirt. Our Screen Test Skirt is made from midweight linen-cotton twill and garment-dyed for a soft, chalky colour with beautiful highs and lows on the seams. Pleats below the belt loops on the front and centreback seams create fullness and movement, and we've added a little elastication to the back of the waistband for an extra comfort. Angled front pockets and back patch pockets add the finishing touch. This versatile, easy-to-wear skirt goes well with just about anything - great for a capsule wardrobe or packing for a weekend away. Add a pop of colour with one of our slim leather belts. An ideal transition piece - simply tuck in one of our printed tops or add a dash of stripes now and later up with tights and a fine knit later on.

The back is fine!

Received my skirt today, and the back is fine; it lies nice and flat on me and so do the pockets. I'm at the top end of my size range, so maybe it's as you say Chatelaine and just that the model is slimmer. I'm sure I shall wear it a lot.

Lovely from the front, pity about the back

I really wanted this skirt when I saw it on the website, until I saw the rear view photo. I really think that it is spoilt by the back pockets and too much elastic at the back of the waist. True that my waist is, sadly, not as wasp-like as the model's, but it does look bunched up on her.

I think I'll wait till I see some other reviews before deciding.
