Perfect Jumper

I love this jumper, it is soft, light, warm & does not irritate my skin.
The colour is gorgeous and practical.
I purchased this jumper last year and lived in it all winter, I know this jumper will be the same. Perfect!

I'm in love!

I'm absolutely in love with this jumper! Gorgeous colour, fits very nicely.
Received loads of compliments already.
This is the first time I've ordered with Seasalt and I've already placed another order ;)

Lovely sweater

Loved this sweater when I saw it on line and as it was available in size 6, ordered it. I was so disappointed that it was way too big and had to send it back. The sweater itself was lovely and soft and warm. Maybe rather over priced, but I would have kept it if the sizing was correct.

A first-class garment

I am delighted with this purchase. The jumper is extremely well made from soft, cosy yarn without being heavy or having the homespun look. As a result, it can be worn to dress up or down. As yet, I have had no problem as regards pilling but if this happens, as well it might, given the characteristics of the yarn, I'm sure my fabric shaver will come to the rescue. I chose the olive green jumper and that is exactly the colour it is. An excellent purchase.

THE Jumper

I have the Olive version of this jumper and it is exactly what I have been looking for. The colour is beautiful, the fit is loose but still shapely and not too thick. Absolutely in love with it. Love wearing it with boots and jeans..... Perfect! Wish it was in Aubergine and black, and then my winter wardrobe would be complete xxx

This is a lovely soft, lightweight jumper, But for me the fit was really poor - it felt too big on the shoulders and round the middle, but a smaller size would have been too restricted on the arms. It was shapeless and hung badly which was a shame as I wanted to love this. Even the neckline which attracted me in the first place was really underwhelming - neither one thing nor the other. For the price, it went back.

Soft, light and a delicious colour

Well, this gets five anchors unless I have problems with it - but it's only just arrived and I wanted to wear it out today. What I love is the simple styling, the neckline which means I can layer it over another top without the top showing, the warm nutmeg colour which looks great with blues or black jeans, and the fact that it's soft and light - warmth without the weight. However, as I often find with Seasalt, my pear-shaped body makes it slightly snugger at the hips than I'd like but only a tad - not enough to go for a bigger size though because it's perfect otherwise. I will report back if I get any bobbling issues but as I've invested in a de-bobbler anyway, I'm not really that fazed by it.

First the pluses - great colour, great fit, great style - BUT it was disappointingly thin and to my mind not worth £75.00. You could see it was going to bobble very quickly and, on a more personal note, as i realise we are not all the same, it was very itchy and would have needed to have a scarf round the neck and a teeshirt underneath, which wasn't the look I wanted, so it has gone back. If you could make the same style and colour in a wool mix or cotton, I would love it

I shouldn't have kept this jumper. It was really bigger than I expected and I'm not keen on the neck (not very flattering). I would have preferred a slashed neck. However, the colour is lovely, an unusual blue, just as shown in the pictures. Also it is so warm and cosy. If it weren't for the neckline I would have ordered the Nutmeg one as well but in a size 8 instead of a 10

Kennal Vale

Poor - not what I expect for Seasalt and a £75.00 jumper , Out of the package initially looks lovely and cosy, but upon wearing it just for a few hours it's bobbled and look terrible. Was given it was a present and wear a size 8, it's quite baggy as not the usual standard from Seasalt, very disappointing and I will be returning it.

Dear JP
Thanks for your review of the Kennal Vale Jumper. The ‘pilling’ or bobbles that you are experiencing are a natural occurrence but particularly so in better quality yarns. This happens because, as the yarn is knitted into a garment and the garment is worn, over time the ‘fluff’ gets tangled as it is rubbed. This results in little balls of fluff – the ‘pilling’. The most common area affected are the underarms and sides of body but, equally, it can happen on the main body if, say, a seatbelt rubs.
The bobbles that appear are easily picked off, either by hand or with a ‘bobble’ remover but they are far easier to remove from a garment containing quality yarn as opposed to a cheaper yarn mix item. Whilst it initially can be a nuisance, as the yarn Seasalt use is of a very high quality, the ‘pilling’ will decrease with wear and you will be left with just a beautifully soft jumper.
If you’d like any further information or advice, please call our friendly customer service team on 01326 640075 or pop onto Live Chat on our website at, where we’d be happy to assist you.
Best wishes, Seasalt
