A classic style we’ve made to last for seasons to come. It has an easy to wear, gentle A-line shape, with a dipped back hem and subtle front seam detail, and will look great worn over your favourite jeans and trousers. The high crew neck has a slim rib, and the cosy long sleeves are finished with ribbed cuffs. Comes in a choice of Cornish colours made in soft lambswool rich blends, with a textured nep yarn on our Aran colourway. Alternatively, choose our original itarsia abstract design made from a warm merino rich blend, created by our Knitwear Designer Carina to echo the shapes of the boulder and rock formations around the south Cornish coast, incorporating the soft muted pink and red tones of the autumnal landscape.

Intricacy Mahogany

Love this jumper - the fit and the colours. Size 8 was a neat fit for me, not baggy at all. I'm 5' 2" and usually choose Seasalt short jumpers and tops. I don't usually go for the longer items, but I'm glad I opted for this dipped back hem item. I really like it - a bit different and comfortable to wear.

Not quite what I expected

This is undoubtedly a lovely jumper, very original. But it is described as merino wool. I have a lot of merino wool items in my wardrobe and all are much much thinner than this. This is more like lambswool. It is quite a thick jumper and a bit itchy as other people have said. I never find merino wool itchy. To be honest I think that it is indeed lambswool, not merino. It is so lovely that I will keep it but being so much thicker than I expected it will be more of a cold winter day jumper (need to wear a camisole to stop the itching) than a going out to warm places one (when we are allowed to go to pubs and restaurants!).

Best jumper I ever owned! ❤

Of all my Seasalt jumpers this one has become my favourite which I didn't expect! I really need many more! The pictures don't do this jumper justice. Unfortunately I couldn't get hold of another one so PLEASE Seasalt I'm begging you to bring this style back next year! For jumpers I wear either a 10 or 12 but in this instance I ordered a 12 because I wanted it to be roomy. The 12 is perfect and a 10 would have ruined the shape. This jumper is supposed to be long and wide! I think this style looks best worn with leggings and boots. It would also look nice with leggings and sandals in Spring. The mahogany colours and the abstract design are absolutely stunning. Beautiful worn with dark blue or black leggings. The merino wool is soft, warm (without being bulky) and I've had no problems with piling. SO comfy that I'm also wearing the jumper at home! 😋

Shape not right

Sadly had to return , too baggy round the bottom. A smaller size would have not fitted as well across the bust .

Nice every day jumper

Good jumper for everyday. Fabric hangs nicely - it's not a thick woolly jumper, but has enough wool content to be warm around the house. I'm between sizes (18 and 20 and 5ft 10) and bought the size up and it's a baggy fit, but with the a-line cut and dip hem it doesn't look like a sack! Colour (Storm) is lovely, sort of teal. Not worn or washed yet.

Nice jumper... but

Bought this jumper in the autumn. Loved the style, colour and fit and was really pleased with my purchase. This all changed after wearing it for the first time on Boxing day unfortunately. The amount of bobbling was really disappointing after only one wear. Had ordered the other colour but am returning it due to the problem with the first one. Very disappointed.

Dear Lizzy D.,

Thank you for your review and we're so sorry that you're not completely satisfied with your Seasalt Jumper.
Of course, in line with our 'no quibble' refund policy, we'd be happy to offer you a full refund if you'd like. Just pop it back to us using the Freepost label in your parcel.

Bobbling and pilling is a natural occurrence in yarns. As the garment is worn, over time, the yarn gets tangled as it is rubbed. This results in little balls of fluff.
To remove the bobbles we'd recommend using a de-bobbler occasionally. Once you've removed the bobbles a few times, you should find that the bobbling decreases with wear.

As always, our Customer Service team would be delighted to help, just call on 01326 640075 or pop onto a chat at www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk

Best wishes,
The Seasalt Team

Well made - fit very big

Liked the material, liked the colour in the bag, but found once on it did not suit me. I am not a fan of your choice of colours, so this was least worst choice, but not meant for me.
I returned because of colour and that the jumper was simply far too big. The sleeves, again were too long on me. I based my choice of size (16) on a Seasalt Berry jumper bought 2 years ago which, now I am losing weight is better on me now than then (pity though about the moths in London evolving into eating wool/poly mix nowadays that have turned my Berry into a sieve) but still ok. The Carbis though is much bigger and I have returned.

Lovely jumper

Bought online together with Great Feast jumper intending to keep one. Carbis is a nice jumper, but for me the neckline a bit high as i alwYs wear a tee shirt under woollens. Loved the dipped hem. Also i’m a 12 in Seasalt, but this jumper was just too big. Recommend to size down and it will still be the oversize style thats in vogue right now. Returned.
