High expectations

I am already in love with the plant hunter winter model, so I decided to bye this Mac too, as I am convinced by the high quality. Fast international delivery, fits perfectly, sporty and classy at the same time, smart and cute details. Will be my perfect companion in my travels. Thank you.

Really pleased

This is a Lovley coat. It has a great shape and I am in the plus size. I am 5ft 4 and it comes to my knees but doesn’t swamp me. Worn in rain and wind, hood adjusts easily and I like the waist adjuster. Great to have a rain coat that is functional but feel good in it, I bought this in a 24, but my folly is a 26.

Brilliant!

I'm generally a size 12 or 14 and opted for the 14 in order to allow room for a thick jumper underneath. Quite roomy, but I prefer an oversized fit. I recently wore it on a very cold trip to the north, and was toasty warm - it really is windproof. I am absolutely thrilled.

The coolest jacket

I bought the jacket in black, size 10, I am usually an S size and it fits a little baggy, just like I wanted. I am really happy with my purchase, the jacket works perfectly in the rain, it's warm enough for a rain jacket and it's very stylish as well. Coolest jacket in the world :)

A brilliant addition to my wardrobe

Lovely light weight coat which will be perfect for wet and windy walks. Tried out the hood today, it is perfect and doesn’t fall over your face as you walk. The coat is rather large but I need the room across my shoulders and back otherwise i would have gone a size down but it is the style of the coat and just needs some getting used to. Love how to cuffs turn up and the leather cord adjusters rather than plastic.

Lucky in the sale

Although I had earlier tried the Citroen colour and found it slightly wanting I still hadn't found anything to replace a tired light weight coat, when the black coat popped up in the sale. This time I found across the back had slightly more give, the fabric does seem slightly sturdier than the Citroen, which at this time of year is a good thing and would I be choosing a black coat to wear in May, probably not so I think that is a win. It still needs a secure internal pocket, as a tailoress I am thinking of adding a secure internal pocket and then it will be perfect. Thank you seasalt.

Citron porthchapel mac

Lovely colour bright for really awful dull days well worth the money. This is my second Seasalt Mac and I am sure it won't be my last I am high street 20 and the 20 fits well plenty of room to layer up when cold.

Lovely raincoat

I have never paid so much for a Mac before, but having looked in quite a few other store decided that this home offered me the best option. Drawstring waist and hood. It was the colour that I was looking for as well. For me that one downside is the long sleeves which innate turned back. Hope this rain doesn't drizzle down. I am normally a 14 but the 12 has plenty of room in it even with a jumper underneath.

Although it's an expensive purchase I hope to use it for many years to come.

Hero Coat

I love the Porthchapel Mac in a way I thought it wasn't possible to love a raincoat. I'm short with an athletic build, which makes finding rain gear oddly difficult - coats tend to either have no shape or be too long. I'm a student, so it's important to have a nice collection of coats which are high-quality and versatile while still looking good on and off campus. The Porthchapel's drawstring waist is wonderful because I can adjust it to show off a figure, and while the coat is a little long on me the dipped parka-style hem still makes it look cute and artsy. Not to mention the fabric! I took the Porthchapel with me on a week-long trip around Ireland (including two days spent on the coastline) and it performed admirably. Super lightweight and packable but study, it's easy to carry around if it's not raining, but it withstands rain and wind amazingly well. It looks good thrown on top of any outfit, which is a bonus, and the inner lining is adorable. It's very warm for city walking, which cut down quite a bit on my packing list because I didn't have to constantly layer clothes to keep warm. This mac did fit a little large, but I had previously tried it on in store and knew to order a size down - there's still room for a midweight sweater now but it's not excessively large. In all, a feminine, well-made coat with character and class! So happy with Seasalt's offerings - the range of options makes it so accessible for everyone and the price is definitely worth it.
