One of our loveliest pieces for the season, The Newtown Dress has a relaxed but beautiful fit, with a gentle V neck and flattering gathers at the waist, which can be cinched in with a fabric waist tie. It’s fully lined with slanted side pockets for anything small you need close to hand, and the 3/4 length sleeves are finished with subtle gathers to the cuffs and a small button placket. Midi length, it’s made from a subtly textured cotton-viscose blend in a signature, handcrafted print inspired by the flowers of Cornwall.

I'm wearing this dress as I type, in fact I haven't had it off since it arrived, I like it that much. I'm apple shaped, 5'4" tall and it finishes mid calf on me..I ordered a size 16 which fits well, albeit a little too high on the waist, an inch or two lower would have been perfect..So happy to have the lovely, deep pockets though and like the way it moves..A bargain in the sale...

Newtown dress

This dress is beautiful, I love it! Its fully lined and the fabric is gorgeous, not too heavy at all. I am a size 10 and the fit is perfect although I will be hemming it because at 5' 1" it is too long. On me the waist is on the waist and I like that. It has no zip or buttons so its a wriggle to get it on but it works!

This dress is perfect for this time of year. Beautiful colour and lovely fabric that hangs well. I am really looking forward to wearing it when we come out of our current lockdown!

Not quite right for me

The gathering was a bit full on my waist and the seam a bit low for me.
I would have preferred it if the waist seam was a bit higher. Material was lovely and the sleeves neckline and top part of the dress were very attractive.

Beautiful dress

This is a beautiful, lined dress. A warm, autumnal colour, and feels lovely on. Quite full on the skirt, but balanced by the top half. No stretch in the material though, just so you know.

Autumn favourite

A lovely dress, nice slightly heavy feeling fabric without being too bulky. Beautiful colours and print.
My usual Seasalt size fits perfectly. As I’m only I’m 5,3 the dress fits slightly longer than on the model, but still looks great with ankle boots for the autumn.

Beautiful dress

This looks just as it does in the picture and is a great autumnal dress, nice and long and a good weight. It’s not flimsy and summery but neither is it thick and heavy. I’m 5ft 2 ins and the ‘fit finder’ recommended a size 10 but this was too big and I returned it and got the 10 petite which is perfect. I found the size 10 slightly too big all over.
