Our Carved Wood Dress is made from cool, breathable linen garment-dyed for incredible softness and a sun-faded hue. Inspired by ‘40s style shirtwaisters, this midi length style is cleverly tailored for a flattering fit with a full skirt for a feminine, vintage feel and a deep waistband with under bust pleats. It’s finished with a low V-neck, short sleeves and fabric covered buttons.
Made in China, in line with our Ethical Trading Policy.

Standard UK & Channel Isles postage for orders under £50 - £3.00
We use Royal Mail’s Tracked service for all our standard UK & CI orders.
When your order’s been dispatched, we'll send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. Your parcel will be with you in 3-5 working days (although it can take a little longer at busy times).
Order by 2pm Monday to Friday
Order by 2pm Monday to Friday to receive your Seasalt order the very next working day (excluding Bank Holiday weekends). Please note any orders placed after 2pm on a Friday or over a Bank Holiday weekend will be despatched on the next working day.
Unfortunately next day delivery isn’t available to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and remote parts of Scotland.

DPD
Any orders that are placed before 2pm are sent via DPD and will require a signature. If you've given us your mobile number, you'll get a text message an hour before your parcel’s delivered. If you're not in, you can choose to have your parcel left with a neighbour, or rearrange delivery.
3 - 5 working days
1. Hop online and choose 'Click & Collect' as your delivery option.
2. Select the most convenient shop to pick up your order. Click & Collect is available in all of our shops except Clonakilty.
3. We'll email you when your order is ready to be collected from your chosen shop. They'll keep it for you for 14 days (don't forget to bring your order number with you when you pop in to collect it)
2 - 4 working days
1. Hop online and choose 'CollectPlus' as your delivery option.
2. Select the most convenient Seasalt collection point - there are over 5500 in the UK.
3. You'll receive a code by email and text when your item arrives. Take this and some form of ID (passport, driving license) to your chosen collection point. They'll keep your order for you for 10 days.

All orders are shipped directly from the UK, you may have to pay customs fees when your parcel reaches the country you live in. You are responsible for any import duties, customs and local sales taxes, and you’ll need to pay these fees to release your order from customs. We don’t have any control over customs and import tax and we can't tell you exactly how much you will be charged, as this varies widely depending on the country you live in (for example, the threshold for goods imported to United State of America is $800, and Canada is $20CAD). Any orders with a value above the threshold amount will be charged import fees, so we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order.
BFPO
We can post to BFPO addresses as long as they have a UK postcode (we can’t be held responsible for what happens to the parcel between the BFPO and its final destination).

I have this dress in red and now in the blue can be worn with trainers or high heels

I already had this dress in the Green and am very happy to now have the navy blue as well. The shape is great flattering and forgiving style.
This is a very nice dress for summer. Easy fit but also shapely, in a good weight of linen, not too heavy not light enough to become too creased. Very pleased with it.
I love it when you try a dress on and you know immediately she's a keeper! That's how I felt as soon as I put this on. It's so soft and flattering of curves - acknowledges a waist, hips and boobs - perfect. I get so many compliments on it every time I wear it. Can't recommend highly enough - I'm a teacher so I even got it with 50% off - but would happily have paid full price.
Lovely dress, looks very classy on. A go anywhere dress with the 'feel good' factor. It was a bit long for me as I am 5' 3" tall but teamed it up with a vintage red belt with a yacht buckle and it looks great!
Love this dress and can't wait to wear it in summer. Really nice quality and fits great. I would say the sizes are generous but didn't warrant going down a size. I am usually a 10, sometimes have to go up to a 12 for the chest area, but the ten fits perfect.

I don't buy many dresses but couldn't resist this one as the cut looked very flattering. I love the soft fabric and the colour. The length is a plus too- can wear confidently without tights .I'm between a 10 and 12 and went for the 10 which is just big enough- a 12 would be very loose.
Recommended for smart casual wear.
This is a beautiful dress, however I had to return it.
Thanks to lockdown, I have gone from a 16 to an 18.
I therefore ordered this dress in an 18 - strangely the sleeves were a little tight around my arms, however, I could have gotten away with the body of the dress in a 16. However, because the sleeves were already tight, I had to return it as it is linen, so there would have been no give in the sleeves if I went down to a 16.
This is one of my favourite Seasalt dresses , love the nod to the Forties beautifully tailored and a joy to wear. I have the blue and was pleased to get the green in the sale. Looking forward to next years colours !
