55% Linen, 45% Cotton

A knee-length pinafore dress with subtle yarn-dyed checks. Our Craft Skills Pinafore Dress is made from a heavier weight, linen/cotton blend, which offers warmth for the cooler months and has a soft and luxurious feel. It is styled with a scoop neck and two large wrap-around patch pockets. We think it looks lovely with one of our plain cotton jersey tops or our roll-neck Landing Top, tights and leather ankle boots.

Pinafore

I like the shape, colour and length of this garment it's easy wear like the dungarees and I know I'll get tonnes of wear out of it this Autumn and Winter ❤️😅

Tartan pinafore

I do agree with some other reviewers that it can feel a little snug on the hips with thick tights and a t-shirt underneath but at least it helps me cut down on my cake consumption!
I love the unique subdued tartan look, it's something very different to plain denim or cord pinafores and a useful multi seasonal piece.
Already had a compliment so that's good enough for me!
Love it! Thanks Seasalt

Really want to save this dress - it is gorgeous

I read the reviews before I bought this dress, but I also saw the photo of what it looked like when not being modelled and thought it looked great (I don't mean that it didn't look great when being modelled, just that it isn't going to look like it does on the model on me, necessarily, so I always want to know what the dress itself looks like. It looked great to me and it is absolutely wonderful. I've worn it on a long commuting day today for the first time and I've felt great in it all day. Really pleased I went with my instinct having seen the picture and hope that there will be more in this style and weight of fabric in similarly subdued but interesting colours.

Love it..a nostalgic dress

1st dress in 14 came up tight...tried the same size 2 weeks later and seemed like. Miraculously it's now fitting as it should. I'm 5'6 and 38C and the size 14 fits me comfortably with room for a top or jumper even. Had one similar in .my 20's and now in my 40's and it brings back memories. Good. length too. Worth the price and great for Autumn/Winter.

Looking forward to Autumn now!

I love it, but I did have to spend half and hour taking up the hem. I am average height (5ft 5ins) but it looked SO much better two inches shorter!

Easy to wear comfort

This pinafore said 'buy me' from the moment I saw it online. So finding it in my local store I tried it on and the rest is history. It is a beautiful weight fabric (and fully lined so doesn't cling) in what I would call moorland colours. I have worn it already with a short sleeved top underneath and just know it will see me right through the winter season with longer sleeved tops and tights. A truly versatile piece.

Not sure if I should have a bigger size or not

I can't say the size 12 is too tight, but it is much snugger than I expected, and maybe too snug I want to wear a jumper as opposed to a t shirt underneath. So i think I need to go to a shop and try a 14 on. Can I exchange at a stockists (there is no Seasalt shop near me) or would I have to post it back?

Hi Belosi

Thank you for your review of the Craft Skills Pinafore Dress and I'm sorry to hear that the sizing wasn't perfect for you this time.

If you haven't already done so, you can pop it back to us using the free post label enclosed in your parcel. We have a 'no quibble' refund policy so we'll arrange your refund just as soon as we receive it. A stockist wouldn't be able to take the item back as they are independant of us.

If it helps, we list detailed measurements on the size guide next to each garment, or if you prefer, our customer service team would be pleased to help with specific sizing queries. Call 01326 640075 or hop onto a chat at www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk

Best wishes

Nice fabric

Bought this and whilst I know it’s a pinafore it would be so much nicer with some sort of small sleeve for workwear - it’s lovely material, great colour and an ideal weight for autumn but agree with other reviews about the sizing if it needs a t-shirt and thick tights underneath. It does however looks great with 2 of my Seasalt cardigans so will wear it with them in the cooler weather

Lush pinafore

I was s little concerned as some reviews stated issues with the sizing. I bought a size 12’, my normal size. The pinafore fits really well with enough room to get long sleeve T shirt underneath. The material feels really nice and pattern is good too. Not washed it yet so can’t comment on this but so far love it.
