Beautiful colours but very flimsy

I LOVE the colours of this dress. It is perfect with boots and tights BUT the material is just a very thin cotton. You will need to wear something underneath the dress to be warm even in Autumn. A little disspaomied as it fits so well otherwise.

Lovely to look at, but thin fabric

I love this dress - well, I love the way it looks, colour suited me, can imagine wearing it. But after much deliberation I have returned it, because the fabric is so very thin. It feels too fragile to stand up to normal wear. I think it will seat, and give at the seams. It needs a full body lining, especially as it is nearly £70 full price.

Folly cove dress

Love the colours. It is just the right length for me. I am 5ft 2. Disappointed it was not lined. It is lightweight and very true to size (12) tight across shoulders but hangs well. Would have been perfect if lined

Not the usual standard.

Nice dress, thin material for the money. Wore once and got a hole under the arm. Stitched it, but disappointed with the quality.

Thank you for your review of the Folly Cove Dress. This certainly doesn’t sound up to our usual high standard. One of our Customer Service Team will be in touch with you very shortly.
Best wishes, Seasalt.

I really liked the look of this dress in the catalogue but was disappointed when it came. I am 5ft 7 -so not overly tall-but would have liked it to be a little longer. The colours were lovely - but I saw it as an autumn into winter dress - so the material was too lightweight and not lined. Expensive for what it was

Lovely dress, great length, disappointing that it is not lined.

Very disappointed

Love the look of this dress and the colour and fit are great. With longer sleeves and shown with ankle boots this gives the impression of a dress for Autumn. However it's a very fine cotton, much finer than both Rocambole an Wayfarer dresses both of which are lined and this one isn't. So overpriced for what it is so going back.

Not for me

Sorry Seasalt, this one is being sent back.
Length was fine, and ok from the waist down but tight across the shoulders when I moved. Also, dress is unlined (and expensive considering that it isn't) and so doesn't fall back on to place when I relax.
Colours are great but as others have commented, material is thin. Over all not worth £70 so going back.

Too big!

As colours are more autumnal than summer expected material to be slightly thicker. Main problem however was the size,. Ordered a size 8 and was far too big all over , more like a tent. Shame as liked the colours of dress.

Love it

Good length for the taller person. Will be great with leggings or tights and boots
