classy and comfy

I need a size 16 for the hips, but can get away with a 14 round the waist, if it's a full style. I was pleased with the fit, which is probably the best in a skirt I've bought in a long time. I loved the finishing touches - the bias hem facing. The length is good, and with the lining, should be warm enough to wear all year round.

Lovely soft skirt

I love this skirt, although at only just over 5'1" I had to shorten it, which was a shame as I couldn't replicate the slightly unusual and rather attractive way Seasalt had sewn the hem. It was too long for me though because it finished somewhere between midi length and my ankles and looked rather frumpy before I shortened it. I bought the size 8 but as with my other Seasalt skirts it was big round the waist, but works well with a plain navy belt. I'll also be able to use the material I cut from the length to make a tie belt. The cotton feels beautifully soft and smooth. I'd have preferred a cotton lining rather than viscose, but at least it's not dreadful polyester or acrylic!

Exactly my thing

Being a little older, I like longer skirts and this one is lovely. In the autumn good with tights and boots as well

Versatile purchase

Saw this skirt in a local independent store in my home town at full price, fell in love with it but could not put it into that months budget. Then found an e-mail from Seasalt with this skirt at a sale price. Bought it and it was delivered promptly and have worn it for several functions. Changing day wear jumper for evening blouse . Lots of lovely compliments on skirt. Morale of this to check in stockist of Seasalt then on line and you may just find garments cheaper!!

Swishy moves

Love the way this skirt moves when I walk. Long and romantic, delicate crepe fabric and lined so it doesn't stick to legs. Flattering around the hips. Makes me feel lovely!

Smart skirt, comfortable and flattering

This skirt is flattering and comfortable in a pretty print. It looks lovely with the Longshore top in either red or jade.

Very light fabric and odd fitting

I found this a very light fabric for this time of the year and given the way the weather is going. The sizing was very baggy around the waist and the shape rather odd - it did not 'flow' at all and kind of rode up at the back. Just not for me I'm afraid.

Flattering and easy to wear

This is the second Seasalt skirt I have purchased in this design, which is very flattering on a pear shape. The first one was in smooth, fine cotton, lined with cotton lawn. This one is in a slightly heavier and very slightly textured cotton and is lined with shiny viscose. As usual, the colours are great: the dark blue (not-quite navy) and the ecru work really well together and the pattern is arty and unusual. It will go with so many things in my wardrobe and I'm delighted with it.
