Eureka!

Having got thoroughly soaked & chilled on a family day out last summer, I have been searching for a rain mac that did what it should but had style. Found, bought, worn (in the rain) & love, love, love it. Performed brilliantly also not heavy to wear so another plus.

Like but double zip would be better

I like the fit, colour and fit but would appreciate a double zip as getting into and out of cars is difficult.

Bowsprit Jacket

I was looking for a comfortable light weight weather proof coat and opted to buy this one. Wearing it for the first time today in windy weather with just a T shirt on and i have to say this has kept me lovely and warm. The coat is very comfortable to wear and can't wait for some rain!! Others have mentioned the coat arriving very creased but mine was very well pack and not a crease in sight. Beautifully made and I bought size 20.

long last

Trying to buy a raincoat that ticks all the boxes is hard task. But finger-crossed i think i've found it. I love the material and the design. I wear a lot black so i was conscious that i didn't want to buy another black or blue coat. So this was ideal as this was stripy! Originally i bought this in a size 12, which fit fine but after pondering i bought a size 14, so then i can at least where thicker clothes underneath and layer it a bit. Which im glad as it makes it more versatile. Ive tried many styles at sea salt. Im only 5,3 and medium build. And this shape i think fits me nicely. The only thing i would say if it had an inside zippy pocket. I would of given this coat a 5 star.

Taylor-made jacket

I finally got this jacket on the third attempt with the help of the fantastic Seasalt customer service team and am absolutely delighted. I am a standard size 12 and, having read the reviews, was in doubt as to whether I should have gone for size 14. However, I decided to stick to my size 12 and I'm glad that I did. The jacket fits perfectly in the shoulders and arms - there is even room for a jumper. Size 14 would have been baggy. The colour is more vibrant than on the picture. The jacket is quite creased but the creases don't bother me as I know that wet weather will quickly smooth them out. Haven't tested it in the rain yet but Seasalt jackets and coats haven't let me down yet so I trust this one.
I am a very happy customer, thank you Seasalt.

Lovely coat, fabulous colour

Brilliant waterproof coat. I love the colour and have had a lot of compliments on it. I like the tail at the back as it covers my bottom! Also means I can sit down on a bench or out and about without getting a damp behind. Glad I got it at sale price as I feel that reflects the value, at full price I would say it was too expensive for what it is. It is a very thin coat, lining gives impression of warm layer but it really is just an anorak. Lovely big hood, great shape, just slightly snug under arms, but as long as I don't wear too chunky a jumper will be fine.

Badly creased jacket

Great coat but exceptionally badly creased on arrival, almost returned it, wish I had as it is now £45 cheaper !

It’s ok

Love the idea of organic cotton and doing a revamp of oilskins. But it is quite mumsy in cut and general look. Colour is lovely. Sure I’ll change my mind on a rainy day, which haven’t had yet, maybe nip next one into the waist more and lose the weird tail. Having said that, think you’re a brilliant British company, doing great things.

Paula

This is a lovely coat. However, it was extremely creased on arrival - badly folded and had been packed for some time. Hanging in the bathroom and holding a steam iron up to it ( advice from your customer service) did nothing. Fortunately, a friend who helps in a charity shop used their professional steamer which removed the worst of the creases.
This is not the first time I’ve had this problem with a Seasaltraincoat - the previous one was sent back. I do think you need to sort this problem out!

Disappointed

I received the above jacket this morning, and I am very disappointed with it. The measurement state 130cm which converted into inches is 50 inches. My bust size is 44/45 inches and this garment was very tight and the sleeves were short and also very tight. Sorry to have to say, but your measurements are total out and feel 5 inches different is really not acceptable.
