We were very excited to be asked to sponsor and decorate a tree at Helston’s first ever Christmas Tree Festival to help raise funds for the Fishermen’s Mission, one of the main charities we support.
As well as Seasalt, fifty local businesses, community groups, schools and associations have taken time out of their busy schedules to decorate a Christmas tree for the festival, and what a spectacular site it is!
As you may have guessed from our current window display, we’ve gone a little OWLsessive (sorry!) with the Christmas decorations for our shops this year, and thought they’d look great on a Christmas tree.
Early last week, Anna from our windows team took her parliament of handmade paper owls to Helston’s Central Methodist Church to decorate Seasalt’s Christmas spruce. The tree was adorned with twinkling fairy lights, white paper chains and of course, sweet little owls. Anna topped off the tree with a shimmering Christmas star.
Entry to the Christmas Tree Festival is free and runs until 5pm on Saturday 26th November, so pop along if you’re ‘down west’ at any point this week and take a look at the beautiful creations that have all helped to raise funds for the Fishermen’s Mission.
