At Seasalt we’re so lucky to have some fantastic locations right on our doorstep, which means when it comes to showcasing our collections we don’t have to look far to find inspiration for our photoshoots.
For our October shoot we travelled up to Millook, to take advantage of the beautiful and distinctive north Cornish coastline. The cliffs here feature an unusual zig-zag patterning within the rocks. Formed by spectacular folding of alternating rock beds of sandstone and shale, Millook’s unique scenery was voted by the Geological Society as one of the UK’s top 10 greatest geosites.
To find our perfect writer’s cabin we visited Firelfly near Mawgan Porth, a cosy, wood panelled retreat in which we could easily imagine hunkering down for an autumn evening with a good book.
Spoilt for choice for picturesque properties we also visited The Fable near Perranporth. This idyllic cottage was light but snug, with whitewashed stone walls, deep window ledges and stashes of logs split and ready for stoking up the wood burning stove.
