Shoals of mackerel swimming in our latest shop window displays

Cornish mackerel in Seasalt shop window displays

Days spent exploring the Helford River area inspired our latest collection. We’ve enjoyed long summer afternoons outdoors, drifting downstream in a little wooden rowing boat and mooring up on the riverbank to enjoy a picnic and sit and watch the world go by. The fleeting, simple pleasures of summer – from the warmth of the sun on your skin to the way the light shimmers on the water or a glimpse of a heron catching a fish – create the feeling of contentment and wellbeing.

Sam, from our windows team, designed the mackerel shape which forms the basis of our latest shop window displays. He used a wax crayon and watercolour paint resist technique to create its distinctive pattern and colouration.

We hope you enjoy the display in your local Seasalt shop.
