It’s officially the summer and festival season is well and truly underway.
Aside from the essential tent, sleeping bag and loo roll, the clothes you pack have become a big part of festival planning. It’s a chance to take a break from your normal daily routine, mix up your wardrobe, and express yourself with bold prints, clashing patterns and bright colours.
Whichever festival you’ll be dancing at this summer, stay one step ahead of the rain with the Seasalt team’s top festival must-have, the Pack-it Jacket! Fold it into its own pocket, drop it in your bag and you’re one step ahead of the Great British weather.
With our ever changing British weather, practical yet fun clothing is something of a necessity. We’ve got you covered on all fronts!
28th – 30th July
St German’s, Cornwall
A favourite of UK fashion editors and festival-goers alike, Port Eliot is a festival of words, fashion, food and imagination.
Set in the beautiful grounds of Port Eliot House, you can swim in the estuary, canoe down the river, uncover a world of fashion, music and literature, and spend your evenings dancing under the stars.
As it’s a firm favourite of fashionistas, a bold statement piece is essential. Look to our Hawthorn Jacket, and embrace a clashing print. A Breton top is an easy and fashionable way to incorporate clashing patterns.
We’ll be at Port Eliot again this year, so come and see us and sign up for one of our free workshops. Find out more >
22nd – 26th June
Worthy Farm, Somerset
Synonymous with rain, Glastonbury is arguably one of the biggest events on the festival calendar. Rain or shine, revellers head to Worthy Farm for a fun-filled weekend of music and theatrics.
A raincoat is without doubt a staple of any Glastonbury wardrobe – a bright Seafolly will keep you one step ahead of the weather. Wear it bare-legged with a Sailor Tunic and you’ll stay cool when the sun shines.
End of the Road

Top packing tips from the Seasalt team
1 – Share the load. See what everyone else is packing and split it out between you. You don’t want to turn up with 5 saucepans and nothing to cook!
2 – Pack light: what you pack you must carry. Pieces that can be worn several ways are a must. Think shirts that can be doubled up as a lightweight jacket, or a towel that’s also a blanket or scarf.
3 – Don’t worry about not washing your hair. Embrace festival life; pack a travel sized dry shampoo & tie a neckerchief in your hair. It’ll look like a stylish and deliberate fashion choice while hiding your locks.
4 – Take a cross body bag. This keeps your hands free for food and drink, and lets you dance like no one’s watching.
5 – Always pack a hat. When the sun does eventually make an appearance you want to be prepared, a wide brimmed, straw hat is a must.
