Tunes from Cornwall with Harbottle & Jonas
To lift your spirits and get your toes tapping, West Country folk favourites Harbottle & Jonas have recorded three music videos from home in lockdown, exclusively for Seasalt Friends
Harbottle & Jonas are one of the most exciting prospects on the folk circuit today and they’ve been a regular fixture at Seasalt’s annual staff parties.
Their music combines the richness of traditional folk with their own original and powerful songwriting. For this exclusive videos series – recorded from their homes in lockdown – Dave and Freya are joined by fiddle player Annie Baylis, who weaves a third vocal harmony and her sensitive playing through the duo’s compelling signature sound.
We are loving the poetry of these of sea-themed songs. If you close your eyes, you can almost imagine you’re in a waterfront pub. Enjoy!
