3 Gin Cocktails That Are Spring in a Glass

These simple yet stylish recipes, created by Tarquin's Cornish Gin, are the next best thing to sunset cocktails overlooking the sea

From a windy cliff-top in North Cornwall, Southwest Distillery produces some of the world’s best gin. In addition to their namesake, Tarquin’s Cornish Dry Gin, they have added several delicious flavoured gins and hand-crafted spirits to the mix over the years. Each one is inspired by the wild Cornish coast.

Started in 2013 by Tarquin Leadbetter, the distillery uses traditional artisan methods to craft its tiny batch gins. Proudly Cornish, the business is currently supporting the local community by lending its time and skills to making hand sanitiser for Cornwall’s NHS, police and food banks. Tarquin says, “My older brother is a Doctor with the NHS, and I’m so proud to be able to help in any way we can.”

If you’d like to try their award-winning Cornish gins (which you can still buy online), here are three ways they recommend serving them. With fruit, fresh herbs and Fever Tree mixers, Tarquin’s gin cocktails are a beautiful way to toast the spring.
