We’re hugely proud of Cornwall and the wealth of creative talent we have here. It’s these local makers and craftspeople who’ve inspired our new collection, Potters & Painters.
St Ives is renowned for its thriving artistic community and remarkable quality of light. Surrounded by white sands and turquoise seas, it’s little wonder this pretty coastal town inspires artists and holiday-makers alike.
We’ve teamed up with some of our friends to offer one lucky winner a creativity-filled week in St Ives, where you’ll get to experience workshops at some of the studios the town has to offer.
Try your hand at creating a masterpiece at the St Ives School of Painting, where you’ll have the waves of the Atlantic crashing against Porthmeor beach as the soundtrack to a painting or drawing workshop.
You will also have the chance to spend time at the Leach Pottery, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of throwing pots while surrounded by the iconic designs of Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada.
And after all that creativity, you’ll enjoy relaxing in the luxurious surroundings of Sail Lofts St Ives. A tranquil seaside retreat, these stunning apartments are the perfect base to unwind and explore all the area has to offer.
To enter, leave a comment below telling us your favourite creative pursuit, and we’ll pick a winner on Monday 5th March 2018.
The prize consists of:
- £190 voucher for St Ives School of Painting
- Half-day taster workshop at The Leach Pottery
