Working with Des Lewis, Senior Style Editor at Marie Claire

At the beginning of each season we work with a fashion stylist to create a beautiful look book to showcase our latest collection to the press.

For Spring/Summer 2016, we were thrilled to be able to work with Des Lewis, Senior Style Editor at Marie Claire.

Des joined us for a weekend of festivities at Port Eliot Festival earlier in the year, and whilst relaxing amongst the agapanthus in our Fishermen’s Garden, we chatted to her about coming down to Cornwall to collaborate on the look book.

Early one September morning, Des made her way down from London to our design studios in Falmouth to see our full range and select her favourite Seasalt outfits. This season’s inspiration found us exploring the great gardens of Cornwall and we think Des captured this beautifully with her selection of sea blues, sunset yellows and floral greens.

Des’s vision was to have model shots intertwined with images of the Cornish coast to really set the scene and highlight our Cornish heritage and inspiration.

It was such a great experience to work with someone so renowned in the fashion industry and we really love the results.

Thanks Des!

Here’s a selection of our favourite images from the look book:
