Today is SOS day for the RNLI, and their biggest fundraising day of the year. Part of the nationwide event is a ‘wear your wellies to work day’ and we just couldn’t resist cracking out the Seasalt wellington stash.
There are events running all over the country, raising much needed money and awareness for the vital work that the RNLI does. Down in Cornwall there’s a Soap Our Saloons over in Hayle, the volunteer lifeboat crew from Penlee are preparing for a cycle marathon, and a 24 hours Morse Marathon will be taking place at Sennen on Sunday.
Here at Seasalt we’ve got our RNLI collection, clothes designed in support of the RNLI with a donation made to charity for every garment we sell. Last year we raised almost £10,000.
And today we pulled on the wellies and had a welly-bration in support!
