CHRISTMAS EXTENDED RETURNS

Don’t worry if you have bought (or received) a gift and it’s not quite right. All purchases from the 1st October 2023 until the 24th December 2023 can be returned until the 21st January 2024 (from the 25th December 2023, purchases will fall into our normal 28 days Returns policy). Proof of purchase required. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our returns just got greener

As part of our promise to reach carbon net zero by 2040, we’re using online returns. This means you’ll no longer receive a paper returns slip in your parcel.

If your chosen pieces aren’t quite right, you can still return them quickly and easily with our online process.

Returns and Exchange Policy

NO QUIBBLES RETURNS POLICY

We love creating beautiful clothes for you to enjoy for seasons to come, so if you find your order isn't quite right – for whatever reason – don't worry, we've got a 'no quibbles' returns policy.​

  • You have 28 days from the day you receive your purchases to return your items. Proof of purchase required. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Please return all items unworn, clean and with the tags on.
  • For hygiene reasons, earrings, underwear, tights and cosmetic products can’t be returned unless they are faulty. Swimwear must be tried on over your underwear and returned to us unworn and with hygiene strips in place. Face covering boxes must be unopened with the tamper proof sticker still in place.​
  • Seasalt Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • If you claim a refund on 2 or more orders, without returning the item(s), we are entitled to suspend deliveries to you and/or to your address.​
  • Please be aware we cannot refund items that were sold as faulty, unless the item develops a new and distinct fault from the one originally advertised.
  • To exercise your right to refund, you may use this cancellation form however please note that this is not obligatory.
  • Cash purchases can only be returned to a Seasalt Shop for a cash refund. If for any reason you are unable to get to one of our Seasalt Shops, please contact our Customer Service team who will be able to help.
  • If you are returning a UK order purchased with part Gift Card and an alternative payment method, we'll refund the alternative payment method first and then refund the remaining amount to the Gift Card.
  • If you are returning a UK order outside of the 14 day cooling off period, the cost of delivery won’t be refunded.
  • If you have changed your mind about a UK order containing non-returnable items, don’t worry! Under the 'Distance Selling Regulations’, UK customers can return the whole order (not just part of it), if the parcel remains unopened. This means that the contents will be untouched and safe for our Returns team to process. In all other circumstances, these items are non-returnable. Please return the full parcel to us within 14 days of receipt.​ ​

EXCHANGE POLICY

Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange any orders by post. Simply return the unwanted item for a refund by following the steps in the relevant Returns section below and place a new order online for the product you'd like. We’ve found this to be a faster process than offering a straight exchange. Exchanges can only be offered for UK orders in our UK Seasalt Shops, subject to stock availability.

UK Returns - by post

If your chosen pieces aren’t quite right, you can still return them quickly and easily with our online process:

UK RETURNS PORTAL – FREE

For orders placed on our UK website, we are working with Narvar to offer quicker and easier returns.

  1. To create your return, visit our UK returns portal. You'll need the order number which starts with either an ‘M’, 'A' or ‘D’, followed by an 8-digit number, and the email address used to place the order.
  2. Click on the items you want to return and select the reason you’re returning them.
  3. Select whether you'd like to receive a digital QR code (no printer needed) or a pre-paid shipping label.
  4. Review your return and click submit on your return details.
  5. We’ll email your digital QR code or pre-paid shipping label.
  6. For pre-paid shipping labels, please print and attach to your return. 
  7. Drop off to your chosen location and the courier will scan your return label or your digital QR code. Please ask the Post Office to provide a receipt for your return.
  8. Once your return has been scanned by the courier your refund will be processed and back in your account within 2-5 working days. If you're returning any items ordered from one of our Seasalt shops, please allow 5-7 working days for your refund to reach your account.

How to find your order number

Your order number starts with either an 'M', 'A' or 'D', followed by an 8-digit number. Your order number can be found on your Order Confirmation email or in the 'my order' sections of your Seasalt Account.

If you placed your order as a guest, it won't show in your account. In this instance, please refer to your Order Confirmation email.

Can't find your order in the UK returns portal?

If you can't find your order in our UK returns portal, we’re here to help! Please use the ‘Need Help’ icon on our Customer Services page, pop onto a Live Chat with us or give us a call on 01326 640075 and we’ll sort your return out as quickly as possible.

Returning items from separate orders?

If you'd like to return items from separate orders, you’ll need to log these separately with their unique order number and email address as only the items within an individual order will show on the UK returns portal.

Returning items from the same order that won't fit in one bag?

If the items you'd like to return won't fit in a single bag, please log each parcel separately. You can do this by logging the items included in your first parcel and follow the steps to create a QR code or label. You can then repeat this process with your remaining items until everything you'd like to return is parcelled up. You should have a QR code or label for each parcel.

Returning a gift?

If you've received an unwanted gift you can exchange it for a gift card or an alternative item in any of our Seasalt shops. Unfortunately, gifts cannot be returned or exchanged online. If you do not live near a Seasalt Shop, you'll need to contact the original purchaser to arrange a return for a refund.

COLLECTPLUS – £4.49

Return your items at one of thousands of CollectPlus Points nationwide.

  • Visit the Collectplus delivered by Yodel returns page and follow the instructions online. To generate your returns label, you'll need the order number and email address used to place the order.
  • Print and attach the returns label to your parcel and drop off at any Yodel serviced CollectPlus Points Nationwide. Find your closest one here.
  • Keep hold of your receipt so you can keep track of your return.

The cost of your return includes online tracking and up to £50 compensation cover.

Refunds will be made to the payment method used on the original order and should show within 14 working days from the date that you receive your refund confirmation email.​ ​

UK Returns - Seasalt Shops

We’re working hard to upgrade till systems in our shops. In the meantime, if you’d like to make a return or exchange in a Seasalt shop, you’ll need to provide an order confirmation email or receipt as proof of purchase. Our team will be unable to search orders on the system.

Return your items to any Seasalt Shop and the team will be happy to organise a refund.​​

  • Find your nearest Seasalt Shop here. Please note:
    • Items purchased directly from our website or from a Seasalt Shop can't be returned to a stockist.
    • Items purchased from a stockist must be returned to the shop you bought them from.
  • Return the items with proof of purchase such as your receipt or Order Confirmation email.

Refunds

  • Refunds for shop purchases can be made to the payment method used or to a gift card. Refunds should show within 5 working days from the date of your refund receipt.​
  • You can return your online order to one of our Seasalt Shops. They’ll organise your return via our UK Returns Portal. Refunds will be made to the payment method used on the original order, please allow 5-7 working days for your refund to reach your account.

Exchanges​

  • Exchanges can only be offered for UK orders in our UK Seasalt Shops, subject to stock availability.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to refund or exchange ROI purchases in our UK shops or UK purchases in ROI shops but we'll happily send them on to our returns department to process for you.​

International Returns

If your chosen pieces aren’t quite right, you can still return them quickly and easily with our online process.

GLOBAL-E

For overseas orders placed on our international website we are working with Global-e to offer easy returns at a great price.​

  • Visit our Global-e returns portal and follow the instructions online (you'll need the order number and email address used to place the order). You’ll be asked to fill in some details and print some documents.
  • Attach the returns label to your parcel and retain proof of postage.

Cost of Returns

You can choose between an express or standard return:

  • Express returns are free.
  • A standard return will need to be paid for directly to the courier of your choice when posting. ​

Refunds will be made to the payment method used on the original order and should show within 14 days from the date that you receive your refund confirmation email.

Can't find your order number?

You'll need the order number and email address used to place the order to register your return on our Global-e returns portal. Your order number can be found on your Order Confirmation email or in the 'my order' sections of your Seasalt Account. If you placed your order as a guest, it won't show in your Seasalt Account. In this instance, please refer to your Order Confirmation email.

Can't find your order in our Global-e returns portal?

If you can't find your order in our Global-e returns portal, or if you are having problems registering your return, please visit our Global-e help center.

REBOUND

For overseas orders placed on our previous .co.uk website we are working with ReBOUND to offer our customers easy returns at a great price. ​

  • Visit our ReBOUND returns portal and follow the instructions online. You’ll be asked to fill in some details and print some documents.
  • Please also fill in the return quantity and reason code on your despatch note and include in your parcel. ​
  • Attach the returns label to your parcel and retain proof of postage.

Stockist and Department Store Returns

If you bought an item from one of our stockists, you’ll need to return it to the shop you bought it from.

​We usually find our stockists are very accommodating. However, if you have any problems, just contact our Customer Services team on +44 (0)1326 640075.

Faulty Products

We're really sorry that you have a faulty product, we do our best to ensure products arrive in perfect condition and are made to last. Should your product not meet your expectations please let us know so we can put it right for you.

UK ORDERS:

  • If you've had your order for less than 28 days and you paid by Card, Gift Card or Paypal, please use our UK Returns Portal as detailed above to receive a full refund.
  • If you've had your order for over 28 days or you paid by Cash, please pop over to our Live Chat or give us a call on 01326 640075 and we'll sort it out as quickly as possible.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

  • If your order is not as you’d expect, please visit our Global-e help center before registering your return and we'll sort a full refund out as quickly as possible.

What is the UK returns portal?

For orders placed on our UK website, we are working with our fulfilment partner Narvar to offer quicker and easier free returns. The UK returns portal is where you can register your return following our online process.

How long will my refund take?

If you made your return via our UK returns portal, your refund will be processed and back in your account within 2-5 working days from when the courier scanned your return. Please allow 5-7 working days if you returned any items ordered from one of our Seasalt shops.

If you downloaded a freepost returns label, you should receive your refund email in 10-14 days (excluding weekends) after your parcel has been received. We're sorry this isn't as quick as usual. Please wait for at least 15 working days after your parcel has been received before contacting us. For more information, please see our 'Need help' icon on our Customer Services page.

How much does it cost to return?

Nothing! Returns through our UK returns portal are free.

Do I have to use the UK returns portal?

We recommend you use our UK returns portal for easier free returns with a quicker refund.

How do I use the UK returns portal?

  • Visit our UK returns portal, you'll need the order number and email address used to place your order. Your order number can be found on your order confirmation email or in the ‘my order’ sections of your Seasalt Account.
  • Select the items you want to return and the reason you’re returning them.
  • Choose your return method and drop off to the Post Office.
  • Once your return has been scanned by the Post Office your refund will be processed.

Do I have to print anything?

If you choose to return via the QR code option, you won’t need to print anything. The QR code will be sent to your email address, you'll need to be able to access this at the Post Office so they can scan the QR code on your smartphone and print your returns label for you.

If you choose the pre-paid shipping label option, you will need to print your returns label.

Why don’t I have a paper returns slip in my parcel?

What returns options are on the UK returns portal?

What is a QR code?

A QR (quick response) code is a type of barcode that can be read easily by a digital device, and which stores information as a series of pixels in a square-shaped grid. Most smartphones have QR readers. If you return by QR code, the Post Office will scan this and then print your returns label for you.

What courier(s) does your UK returns portal use?

All returns will be sent freepost by Royal Mail via their Tracked 48 service.

Can I use the UK returns portal if I don’t have a smartphone or a printer?

Can I use the UK returns portal to return an item bought in a Seasalt Shop?

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use our UK returns portal to return an item purchased in a Seasalt Shop. The quickest way to receive a refund for an item purchased in one of our shops is to return it to any Seasalt shop. Find your nearest shop.

If you prefer to post the item, or it’s not convenient to visit a shop, you can download and print a freepost return label here. Please enclose, a copy of your receipt, your name, address, contact telephone number and reason for return (too big/ small/ faulty etc.). Once we receive your return, our Customer Service team will contact you to arrange the refund.
