Sperry Top-Sider deck shoes have been a favourite since 1935 when Paul Sperry, inspired by the pattern of cracks in his dog Prince’s paws and his ability to run nimbly over the ice and snow, used a pen knife to cut into the rubber outer sole of a trainer. As a keen sailor Paul used these new shoe soles to avoid slipping on the wet deck of his boat and so a classic was born!

As part of our count down to Christmas we’ve decided to give the festivities a Cornish spin, with a few little tips, some tall stories and a dash of local legend to warm you up for the big day… This is Day 12…

We have a brilliant team of window designers who spend the entire year dreaming up fantastical plans for our window displays. And Christmas has to be the pinnacle in their window dressing year. It’s a full blown opportunity to deck the sills with all manner of festive treats and give shoppers a sparklin’ display in the build up to the big day.
