One of our Olympic Rowers, Helen Glover, recently took part in the Lucerne World Cup and as a prelude to the Olympic Games it couldn’t have gone better!
What better way to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee than by sending a Cornish contingency to take part in The Thames Pageant? Seasalt can’t be there in person but we are shipping a piece of Cornish spirit up to London, by way of stripey sailor shirts on a traditional rigged fishing boat.

It’s always great to hear from our customers and recently we got this email from Tim West, about a little boy, a bear and a stolen Seasalt hat. It made us laugh so much we just had to share it with you.
It’s well known that here at Seasalt we can’t say no to a pretty bloom. Which is why we’re always a little bit excitable at this time of year, as gardening royalty gear up for the floral event of the year – Chelsea Flower Show.
The Olympic torch took its first UK steps on Cornish soil and the sun came out to celebrate. With a route that took in the breadth of the county in just one day, the torch travelled all the way from Land’s End to the Tamar Bridge, scaling the heights of the Eden biomes and taking in a couple of Seasalt shops on the way!
Here it is passing the Falmouth Seasalt shop – see we’ve even got the bunting out – carried by Gavin Cattle, the captain of the Cornish Pirates, the only professional rugby team in Cornwall.
