We have an exciting new position that has become available to join our Online Customer Service team at our offices in Falmouth. Our ideal candidate must be able to work weekends and evenings.
One of our graphic designers, Elly Jahnz, recently took a trip up country and found herself in the middle of an apple adventure…
Autumn – season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, to borrow a phrase from Mr Keats. While we’ve only had a couple of misty days thus far, one thing we have had in abundance is fruitfulness. Apples to be precise. I’ve recently come back from a weekend away in the Cotswolds, where I had more than my fair share of this noble fruit.
One of our Seasalt Olympic Rowers, Helen Glover, recently spent a happy few days back in the ‘shire’ – here’s how she got on ….

This Friday, 30 September, people around the UK will be holding coffee mornings (or afternoons in our case) to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We’ll be holding our very own Seasalt Big Bake Off, with tea, chat, adjudication and of course lots and lots of cake.
So what happens when you put an Olympic Silver medallist and World Champion rower in a Cornish Pilot Gig for the first time? You have a spot of confusion over an unfamiliar rowing technique, the beginnings of a blister to the hand and a whole evening full of fun!

Renowned as the county is for all sorts of gastronomic delicacies, a tasty road show pulls into the city today for its annual culinary celebration – the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival.
Thank you to all those who expressed an interest – this position has now been filled.
Autumn is most definitely upon us – how can I make this aspersion? The mushrooms springing up under foot. Cue my favourite mushroom recipe.

Carole has been rowing for 21 years and when we spoke to her about getting ready for the Ladies’ Championships, she reminisced that she must have rowed the Newquay course over 100 times over her 21 years rowing. “Wow!”, we exclaimed! “Now that’s a great story!”.
We wanted to know more so we asked Carole if she minded sharing a bit of her rowing history with us…. Read the rest of this entry »
Last weekend saw the return of the annual Newquay fish festival and yet again it was full of delights for all the family, from face painting at Newquay Zoo to Cookery demonstrations by Steve Lloyd from the Lewinnick Lodge.
