delivery policy and costs

During our Sale period please allow up to 3weeks for delivery. Also please be aware that whilst we will do our best to make sure your order is fulfilled in the shortest possible time, items do sell very quickly so may have sold out between placing your order and processing for dispatch. In this instance the cost of the item in question would be immediately refunded. Thank you for your patience during this busy time.

We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order, but we reserve the right to deliver to your invoice address only.

Subject to stock availability and credit card authorisation, we aim to despatch all orders within 2 working days, so please allow 7-10 working days for delivery.

Goods are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery and require a signature upon receipt.

We are able to deliver to the following countries:
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Irish Republic, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City State.
Rest of world: Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

All overseas orders are sent by International recorded service and a signature will be required on receipt.

You should allow 21 days for delivery from placing the order.

Please note:
If your order is being delivered to a country within the European Union then your bill will include VAT.

If your order is being delivered outside the European Union then you will not be charged VAT but you will be responsible for any customs or import duties levied once the goods reach your country, because we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be.

returns & exchanges

Seasalt No Quibble Returns It's no problem to get an exchange or a refund. We just ask that you send your purchase back within 28 days of receipt of goods, making sure it's unused and good as new in its original packaging with all info tags still attached. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

To return an item, simply complete the return form sent with your order and send it to: Seasalt Limited, 1 - 3 Adelaide Street, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 2ES, United Kingdom.

We recommend that you use a registered postal service to return your item. Seasalt Limited will not be held liable for the cost of return or lost parcels.

Alternatively you can take the goods, along with your receipt into a seasalt store where our staff will be happy to exchange or refund your goods.

Please note that for returned goods, we will refund the price of the goods but not the delivery charge (unless the entire order was cancelled within 7 working days from the day after the day of receipt of the goods). For exchanges, the replacement goods will be delivered to you free of charge.

to change or cancel your order

Under the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from the day after the day of receipt of the goods without giving a reason.

If your order has not been confirmed (by e-mail), you can change or cancel your order as follows:

  • Click on “My Basket” at the top of the page
  • To cancel a selected item, tick the “Remove” box against the selected item, and then click update
  • To change the quantity of an item, enter the required quantity, and then click update

If your order has been confirmed, but you have not yet received the items, you can change or cancel your order by e-mailing us at judy@seasaltcornwall.co.uk or by telephoning us on +44 (0) 1736 352032.

If your order has been despatched, you will also need to return the cancelled item(s) at your own expense to the address shown under Returns & Exchanges. We will refund the order or relevant part of it, including the original delivery charge to you if the whole order is returned, as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days of cancellation.

If you cancel your order and we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange to collect the item from you at your cost.

stock availability

We do try to ensure that we have good stock availability of all products. However, some goods may sell faster than we predict.

If the item you have ordered is not in stock, we will do our best to get it for you as quickly as possible. If we cannot get the item we will cancel your order immediately and let you know by email.

If we can get the item, but cannot deliver it to you within our delivery policy, we will email you with the option to cancel your order.

to pay for your order

We accept online payment in a secure environment with Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards, as well as Solo and Maestro debit cards. We are unable to accept Visa Electron.

You can only see our price list in sterling, but we accept credit card payments from anywhere in the world.

We do not charge your credit or debit card until we despatch your order.

To protect cardholders, all orders are screened using 3D Secure (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa) and by an independent fraud prevention service. We may contact you for additional security purposes should we deem this necessary.

In the event of you having a complaint or problem with any aspect of our service or the products we offer, please telephone us on +44 (0) 1736 352032 or click here to inform us by email. We take all complaints extremely seriously and we will try to rectify any problem quickly and effectively.

Our Customer Service representatives are available between 9:00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. (GMT) Monday to Friday.

All complaints will be acknowledged within 1 working day and will be resolved as soon as possible. We will always keep you informed throughout the process of resolving your complaint and we will keep the details of your complaint confidential.

We always welcome feedback from our customers and are continually looking at ways to improve our service.

prices & tax charges

All prices are shown in sterling and include 17.5 % VAT on adult’s clothing and 0% VAT on children’s clothing.

If you are ordering from outside the UK or European Union, your order will be supplied VAT free and a copy of your ex VAT receipt will be despatched with your goods. Local import duties may be payable by you on receipt.

mispricings

Despite our best efforts, items in our online shop may occasionally be mispriced. We verify prices as part of our despatch procedures and if an item’s correct price is lower than the price shown online, we will charge you the lower amount and send you the item. If the item’s correct price is higher than the price shown online, we will contact you for instructions before despatch. We cannot confirm the price until you order.

We want you to shop online with confidence. When you place an order using the Seasalt web site, your credit card details are processed by Protx, an accredited payment service provider. Protx protect your credit card details from interception because they scramble (or encrypt) the details before they are sent from your computer to theirs. Depending on your browser, you will see a different confirmation that your connection is secure, but for the most common browsers, you will see a closed padlock at the foot of your screen.
