Gobble Gobble...
Winning Ham...
Seasonal Veg...
Sumtuous Local Cheeses...
Crusty Bread...
The Well Hung Meat Company will be delivering the most fantastic organic free range turkeys and geese to homes throughout the country this Christmas. The traditional, slow-growing Kelly Bronze and Norfolk Black breeds are reared on a small organic farm on the Fowey Estuary in Cornwall.
Feeding on home-grown organic grains, supplemented by clover rich pastures on which they are free to graze - all day, every day. The turkeys even have their own guardians - Rolo and Henry, two very docile and friendly aging Labradors who do a great job of keeping any would-be predators at bay. All of the processing is carried out on the farm: the longest distance the birds travel is from the field to the yard, limiting any distress to the animals and improving flavour and quality.
The company were recently endorsed with 'Taste of the West South West online retailer 2007'
